Girlfriend just rang me. She's just arrived back from her mothers funeral which was yesterday. She's being very stoic. Her husband is overseas. I'm going up to visit her Christmas day while Mr Rags has his family lunch. Will see if I can get her to come to our place for a couple of days.
There is, along with the peace and joy and love, sadness at this time of year too.


Have to go as she's going to skype me in 10 mins. (Another skill I've learnt!!)

Just back in the door, thank you all for being so - Undies...

And just quietly - theres a lot of work to be done!!! starting with cleaning, I dont think its been touched for a year...cleaning, patching walls - something tells me this guy liked nails - and ripping up carpet tomorrow. Floorboards in the bedrooms need to be coated... Gardens a disaster but we found two passionfruit...

We will have Christmas day off - I promise!!

Gotta go and feed the masses, back soon....
