And youse sheila's are the backbone of the music industry. Helped me through a few dark, lonely nights. I have nothing but respect.

          Cool pics Rags. Enjoy NYE.

The spray on hair is great in dry weather, but can present a problem if it rains , and a hat can ruin the ambience with 'hair' being attracted to wool, cotton, and nylon ensembles.

Blue sky's out there, so better get orf into it.

HMMMMM, now here's an interesting thought... Who is going to be first to start the 2012 tUndies thread. Bugger! I should have gone to Tonga with a satellite phone.

Should people just NOT insist on deep-cleaning at Christmas time
What brilliant timing. At dinner last night we were talking about the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. IMHO both are pretty disappointing places and the rivalry amongst the priests is part of the disillusionment. I have forwarded this link to my fellow diners so we can all feel smug about our judgement. Thankew

                Morning All
                Oopps ...tis afternoon....don't tell anyone.
Slowly digging my way through the backlog and also attempting to 'foreward log' at the same time :nutso:
There is, however, an amazing sense of acheivement to it all, and I do love these days of heading home or inside after a good honest day's work rather than just a hard day of recovery. A great sense of satisfaction in that type of tingley tiredness. Just really struck me last night.
My nursey back is buggering me around so I've been sucking voltaren for a few days.
Old age eh? So much to look foreward to......

Anyway it's just gone 1pm and it's tucker time thank Dog. I'll continue this train of thought tonight when I've done my bit.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

K so, I finished some triple cream brie and some blue cheese off. YUM and I'm stuffed. Hubs informed me my stomach is getting BIG. Thank you sir.
We dog sat over Christmas, hubs informed me he no longer wants to do that. He told me I should get a job at a shelter. Yes, only they have little money so most people that work there are volunteers.
Also, the 65 items I ordered from California are already in Sydney at customs being processed. It's only been 4 days. Also, the website charged our old credit card that we cancelled after a stranger started charging to it. So we have not paid for this massive order, and they still sent it out as if we have already paid. Now I am going to have to call the company and give them my details to make them charge us for stuff they sent out for free.

Anywho, hope you are all enjoying yer 2nd to last day of the year!

Are unpasteurised cheeses safe to eat during pregnancy, Sunny? I vaguely recall Mrs. T not being able to eat the stuff way back when. Probably something some over-zealous person came up with, though...

Hey Tips, Over here in OZ you can buy all the beautiful cheeses pasteurized. It means more cheese for me!

We dropped in the apple store today.....another person also told us the same as you. But alas they wanted $110 to fix the screen. I told them I couldn't afford it. But I just cannot bear paying $110 to fix the screen on a $160 product. Hubby is going to get the kit from ebay for $40.

NYE tomorrow which we are spending with friends and I haven't even started on my food prep, if I have the energy I will get started when the kids are in bed. And yes I will be sober as I have been every year.......designated driver for the kiddies.

Hi Undies, Ellaq good idea on the screen and there are plenty of 'how to' videos online if you ask the Gods of Google.

Marvellous day at the beach. A run and a swim in the strange, recently brass coloured bay water. I think it's from some dredging further out. All good except for this little twitch i've developed in the last hour.

I think apple are hopeless for not changing unit over for free.

Hope all are well including you KT.
