Sounds good Jan. G'night and hope you have a good sleep.

Arvo Froggy. I bet it's warm where you are. Have you been in the water tank all day?

Geez, and i'm itching for a run. Better wait for it to cool down.

Hello Undies! I am back from my several days away. I didn't want to post before I went away as the last week and a half has been a bit of a nightmare. So I am going to let it all out on the last day of the year and then tomorrow I am going to arise a new woman, with my "Total Transformation for 2012" plan all in place!

Some of the difficulties were about having a large number of my family here - some of them were gems but others were a bit loud and obnoxious; and two of them I will not ever have to stay again. But the biggest thing was that 3 days before Xmas Mum (along with 4 other people in her rest home) came down with a really serious lung infection - so serious that one woman died on Xmas Eve and Mum was put into hospital, and into an isolation unit. So things were pretty tense on Xmas Day.

Mr B and I decided that we would go away as planned on Xmas night as Drs said that they thought that all would be okay. and we were only a couple of hours away if we needed to be called back (and we have been desperate for a break). So my very lovely nephew and his wife and kids stayed on in our house and made sure that everything was okay with Mum. Meanwhile we went south where we were planning on lying in the sun, swimming a lot and walking in the bush for 4 days. However, less than 24 hours after we arrived a storm hit, and it rained constantly from then until the time we left this afternoon!!! Oh, and we had no electricity, and from late last night, no water. But we did had the company of quite a lot of chooks and a few free-range sheep

The up-side?!! I had lots of time to do Rags' puzzle (and I needed it - FFS Rags, that is that hardest puzzle I have done for a long time :H:H) and lots of time to reflect and lots of time to sleep. Took Jason Vale's book down with me as well, which was very fortuitous. Plus the camp place where we were staying had a "library" which was last updated in the 1960s, so I raided that and read all sorts of stuff that I wouldn't normally touch with a barge pole - my favorite was "I Spied for Stalin" published in 1950 by a Russian woman who went on to marry a UK diplomat. T'was a ripper yarn :H:H

Anyway, Mum is now out of hospital, but very weak, and quite confused. I am very glad to be home, especially since my nephew and his wife tidied the whole place of any trace of Xmas lunch!!

So I am going to bed tonight leaving 2011 very happily behind me and with some very solid plans and goals in place for 2012. And a zero procrastination policy is one of mine too!!
Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn
