Mish-- very very sorry about your mom. You are a good daughter. Georgie-- forgot to tell you how awesome that bonus was for you-- congrats! Rubes-- i did not make the corn beef yet -- had it all ready to go and hubby started thinking he would get sick if he ate so much then played hockey. He looked at my menus for the week and asked if we could make it on Sunday. So we will do that. Already planning on doing all the food shopping for guests on next Monday.

Fen-/ hub just told me to order more cards! They have Lukes pic on them -- already am doing 100 but he says we need to do 50 more. I will be coming in under the wire with these last ones. I should have brought them to the hockey rink to do while Luke is skating.
Mama-- what did they give you for your arthritis? I hope something helps.

I was so tired and he said well after you clean the kitchen and go over Luke's homework and he goes to bed you can go to bed. Uh-- while he does what? Play the xbox before his hockey game tonight!!! Aaarrrrgggh!

Oh, Fen, I've switched her up as I usually do, point to something she's good at and leave her alone to do it. She's off her b'witch mood now. They moved in together without knowing the realities of the world. Though they have housing, since JC's real job hasn't started, they have no real income. Their pantry holds 3 canned drinks, the ends of a loaf of bread, and some peanut butter. They fell on some roast beef sandwiches TMB admired. So I took the opportunity to explain what a difference this was from coming over to internet shop and eating. I keep gently reminding them they've made adult decisions, must suffer adult consequences, and they know. They come here daily to eat, and I'll never let them go hungry or cold, but there are lessons to learn here about consequences. I can see the wheels turning in their heads; love don't keep you warm, or fed, or happy. Work does.

I had a friend once that had a toddler. When his wife travelled, I SWEAR he put the kid to bed fully dressed, inlcuding shoes.
Snatched him out of bed in the am, and off he went. Probably with a wet nappy!!

Yea, kids I've been home in bed all afternoon....this was the worst epidural and I won't go thru it anymore...especially if it only lasts 2 weeks. I was good and didn't move around, but I had to hide my face because I was crying-it hurt so much. The doctor said one of the disks was very tight this time.....some of the pain was extending down my leg into my foot...then I couldn't walk. I wanted to make sure none of the other patients saw me crying because I didn't want to scare them. There was a frail old lady sitting out there waiting to go in next...so I just gritted my teeth and smiled and RAN out the door (or tried to run.....). I honestly think my son-in-law is smart because he is going to a special spine center for his treatment...and he gets "feel good" medicine in his IV......they don't offer that to me! Kind of like natural childbirth......So, there is my horror story. I am better now-had my pity party, talked with Vicki and she made me laugh. Took extra pain meds for my massive headache which wasted no time getting here. I should go to sleep from the klonopin in a few hours....then back to the hell hole.....oh, I didn't just say that, did I? Jan..one thing I want to say for you.....if you need an epidural, they truly are very common but I want you to go to a spinal center...they are all over the country. If that is the route you will be taking,I will help you find one. My Mom gave me a webite for one that is national...I just don't have it on me in bed at the moment.
Please, please don't let my experience drive you away.....I won't give up! I want to be a hands-on grandma for my Addison Shay. She means everything to me.

Oh, here I go again.....boo hoo hoo.

PLUS.....hubby took off work today to take me and then he went Wally World for groceries!! I drew him a map where everything was! He is worried about me....even more so now that I told him Vick said it is hot down there tonight....he's afraid I am going to relocate because it is getting to 22 here tonight...and I don't like to be cold!!!!

Ruby....can I send Tay & JC a box of goodies to help them? Only if you say so. I know you are trying to teach them responsibility.

Oh, BTW, my Mom said to have a drink to help with the pain...she has no idea that I consider myself an alcoholic. I just said No. She doesn't drink .... she just thought it would help me. She does mean well.

His ex that he spent 13 years with was named Sue!! Not that that makes a difference....just feel like blabbing here....la tee da......Of course, his Sue threatened to slice my neck with a knife...she was very bipolar and didn't take her meds...she physically harmed him many, many times. That's how we met....I felt sorry for him for what he was going thru. Why am I running my mouth???

Kelly, I want to reach though here and smack all of your family silly, and would you too except you're so sick. DO NOT GO TO WORK TOMORROW!! I don't give a Queen Elizabeth shit if the place falls apart. I cannot leave you on your own, can I? Heck no, don't send them anything now. They aren't suffering, but I may make them! Get your butt to bed, and stay there. There can be serious complications from epidurals, and IMHO, you've had too many too soon without proper aftercare. I know a little about this crap, but won't go there. You should NOT get out of bed tomorrow. You should NOT go to work.This pain is unacceptable, should not be so in something you are ambulatory afterward. *&^%$#@, I'm fuming!!!

Do you get tastycakes down there......ummm, they probably don't eat mushrooms but I can get free mushrooms from Jeremy's Uncles. Whoopie pies from the Amish farm......a pygmy goat......a pet mouse that Jeremy's snake won't eat so now it is in it's own house eating chicken food (?)....whatever! Raman noodles....spaghettios....I would love to send a goody box. But what I would love even more is to see them.

Kell, you're going to get feedback from others, but this is not right, what you're going through, medically in my eyes. We need to talk. And YES, the first thing Tay ever learned to cook from me was sauted mushrooms. But DANG!!! (Sorry, I just exploded over what happened - why was no one with you for doc to talk to??) but this is your life, and your decisions. GRRRRRRRR OK, I'm getting better but docs usually walk funny later or run across the state if they hurt me.
No I'm the only one to face the wrath of Hubs and live. When Tay goes into the den with him, she crawls up in his lap and JC keeps me between them! :H
