Oh, MB, they are a gorgeous couple. People say she looks just like me, we've even had people drive by her house and think I'm her (till they get up close, of course!:H) It really gets her goat, and I've always told her she'll grow out of it. I had a very dear little friend who passed away last year who never failed to tell me I was beautiful, and since I'm older that's a scarce compliment. Her husband was a nationally syndicated newspaper writer. I miss her dearly.
We gave Daddy a goat one year, for Christmas,and it walked into the living room like a long lost friend, red bow around it's neck and all. Daddy put it out on the island in the lake for brother's outdoor wedding, and it bleated for hours, then swam over and disrupted the outdoor ceremony. Can't make this stuff up.
I'd use bio-hazard wear to clean up after those people!
ATL, I'm craving a corned beef meal now, but we're having leftovers tonight. I'm getting lazy about my cooking big meals, and himself isn't thrilled.

OH JAN - that is just GROSS!!!!! How horrid - yucko. I am halfway through present wrapping. Got the grands to wrap, my children and hubs.
ATL - You should live where I do - it was 22 degrees here yesterday!
Jan - my daughter just put blonde extensions in her hair and sent a pic of herself to my eldest daughter who immediately texted back to younger daughter and said she was the splitting image of me in my younger days!!
Ruby - your hubs is lucky you even cook for him - I don't cook for Hubs any more - he does his own meals these days - with our shifts and the fact that he loves dead cows, he does his own meals!!

Jan, I KNOW you hare some hirelings you can delegate that crap to. QUIT mothering them, make them do their jobs. How else do they learn? Provide them with adequate protection, and send 'em in there. Lotsa nasty people in this world.
Sun, Tay loves to wrap. Ergo, I don't. Hubs is smuggly proud of doing all his wrapping out in his office, and the grands are just in awe of all my presents. As far as feeding himself, his mother followed him around, picking up his litter and offering him food. Now, 41 years later, I'm still trying to break the habit. She hates me for not being the dutiful little wife. Big Whoop. He's not starving, and when I cook, it's really good stuff.
Mopping all my floors, again. Hubs rants about TMB's hair, but Satan uses the whole house as a potty. So I simply do what I must, and ignore the rants. I've told him often he can always move home (oh wait! We own their 1 bedroom home!) Yesterday they came home from a trip and his father was upset he walked all the way over here for his mail and I didn't open the door. I was in the shower, and NO, that old geezer isn't getting that thrill for Christmas!
Do I sound less than cheery?? Hmmm, yes. A bit. But I'll be back on track soon. Love you all.

Mama, you put those used feminine (and I use the term loosely) supplies and "gently used" sex toys in a small biohazard bag...and look up where that nasty tenant moves to next. When you find her address, box those items up, and mail them to her in pretty gift wrap. I can just imagine her surprise when she opens her "gift"! :H

Nice pics Rubes...think my asthma flared up from cleaning out that ol trailer I bought...its usually not this bad. kids have a friend over. I'm gonna watch survivor. I havent even started wrapping yet, but we did get a little tree today. Gonna have to put it on the kitch table though cuz we are bringing the timpanis home this week for my kid to practice on over break......have fun at dinner MB and that was disgusting about u know what and funny as well....later on

Speaking of instant karma...Mrs. Fen read me a newspaper article featuring a couple who was busted for shoplifting in a food store in Ogden, Utah...and when they were finally released and ticketed by the cop...they discovered that someone broke into their car and stole a car stereo, drum machine, etc...and they had to flag down the cop that just ticketed them to report the theft! :H
