Hope things work out.....Aguy, you are sounding wonderful!!!So proud of you.....Fenn, glad you survived.....well we are having lunch with the kids friends parents and grandparents. Would rather not but to please the kids and who knows? I might have a good time. Just waiting for the kids to get up and open their ipods. Well, I'm sad for his pain, but apart from that, there's a rejoicing in my spirit. Oh, and he is drug f..... And so glad I didn't involve myself in any of this.

I want my baby here with me so I can help her grieve. I'm about to ring his mum and make all the right noises, but inside, I'm just so relieved my daughter is out of his clutches...and only hope she stays that way.

Off to spend the day with Nana and Pop.....Had a wonderful time last night with family and got home and fell into bed about 11....we are up and just had our family Christmas....my three boys and I....it was great...I will take pictures......and now I am packing food and heading off....will prolly check in later tonight

Mish, I so glad you got the gift of some comforting news. The waiting must be terrible, but you know best, and maybe her pride is holding her back a bit. Keep praying, dear.
Swannie, I hope you got some rest. Sun was right, you will never 'get over it', and I can't put myself in your shoes. But I only hope you know you have a loving family here, and we really care about you. I only hope one day we can show you, face to face.

Having a cranky sort of day. I'm glad I got through yesterday okay, but the champagne was flowing like water, and I couldn't partake of it. Mrs. Fen clearly told her obnoxious, shrill older sis about me, because she kept screeching "Fen! Do you want some more coffee?!!!" Just bugged me. I don't want my nephew to know, because he looks up to me. Thank god he was there...I so adore him. Going off to do some escapist reading, now.

Hello All--

Have not forgotten you and the gift you give me daily of support in this battle and just friendship-- I have never cooked so much in my life and am about to go finish off with some Southern classics. I got a trip to England adn Ireland from Mark!! In september! My in laws are keeping Luke-- I will need any and all tips-- went to school in England so I am okay with that-- but need to get on th eIreland part which hubby being Irish is so thrilled about. Otherwise I got a copy of the Tudors DVDs-- everyone else made out like mad but I am glad to watch them all with their gifts. Happy Christmas all-- gone to cook!

Phew whata day! It was wonderful! Got many nice gifts, gave many nice gifts! My girls were so grateful for what they got and my oldest gave hubs and I an extra gift this year, a day at a beautiful mountain mansion/lodge including his and her spa services including massages! The place is gorgeous Victorian lodge called the Mohonk mountain house. What was even better was the speech of love, admiration she gave to us when she presented it to us. We are whipped, I will talk to you all in the AM. Oh! prime rib came out really good this year. Woo hooo. XO G

Hallo there - glad you both had a good day Georgie and ATL - awesome gift ATL - wonderful - enjoy your trip to England and Ireland! georgie - glad that you got some nice gifts and had a good day. I had a really nice time with my daughter and family - M-I-l was there too and it was a really nice relaxed time. I LOVED watching the grands opening their pressies - I got the 2 year old a small guitar with strings - he spent the whole time wandering around singing away - he was SO funny!!! It was a definite hit as a gift! I enjoyed myself very much, but it was nice to come home - I cleaned my kitchen finally and cleared off the kitchen table and sides and it is looking more the way it should!

I work tomorrow morning at 6.00 which means getting up at 4.00 so will be in bed early. I do hope that you all had a wonderful day today - that you enjoyed time with your family and friends if you could, and that you could talk to them if you couldn't. I love you all.

Had fun at the kids friends parents parents house. Thinking it has been 17 or 18 years since I went to someones for Xmas dinner and the kids have never been. We have always eaten out since it is a busy day for us. They sent home leftovers and I am very sleepy from snacking....zzzzz
