Morning all,
Wow Ruby if I only got 20 minutes of sleep, I would be vomiting about now. Took my little one for her yearly check up yesterday and then we shopped til we dropped. Delivering a few donations today then coming home to clean. My oldest completely decorated our house for me. WHAT A GOOD GIRL SHE IS!!!!!! I have my annual Christmas party at work this Friday and am working on a hand painted ornament that is part of my gift for my coworker that I chose from grab bag, I need to finish it today as I work tomorrow. I'm dreading my decorating so Tay's going to do it for me. I usually love doing it. Oh well.
I gave a pretty good I-told-you-so to Hubs last night. Our icemaker has been on the fritz for a month, and he never even looked at it on days he DID happen to be off. I know he's tired, but it's been a drag buying ice all the time. Last night, JC noticed the wall near fridge was running water down it, very slowly. I've been noticing water puddles bit figured it was from a bad seal on the door. Water had been running down the adjacent cabinet, behind the shelves and underneath my favorite cookbooks. Hadn't used them in a while so hadn't noticed. 4 of my favorite big hardcover books were ruined. ARRRRRGGHH!!! He said just order some more, but still, really can't afford right now, plus some are quite old.
This is just bizarre!!!

Ruby....PLEASE ask Tay to come to my house....I just can't find enough hours in the day to get everything done.....especially since I stay at work late and by the time I get home, fix supper, do dishes, feed dogs, do some laundry, etc. etc. etc. it is bedtime.....
Jan....I am so very glad you called the doctor......please keep us posted. If it is your sciatic nerve, I know exactly the pain you are feeling - and it ain't a good feeling!!!!

Vicki went out to dinner with her kids last night.....her brother gave her a gift certificate to a steak house for her birthday. She sent me pictures of them eating steak!! I told her I was jealous.

Bird....I am thinking about going home early....I'm feeling crappy today and it is raining and gloomy (like me). Really warm now - 60 I think - but then it might snow tonight! BIG temperature drop. But, knowing me, I'll be here until 6pm again......:upset:

Grate, you know as many fancy words as I do! Want to know how it got started? Once, when I was in the sixth grade, I forgot to bring in my reading homework. As punishment, my teacher made me stay inside for recess and copy a page from the dictionary (little did she know that in spite of the shame, I was so happy to avoid my tormentors on the play ground!). I started copying pages from the dictionary in my spare time- the act of reading the words, writing them down, and re-reading them really made them stick in my head.
That's my fun "Fen fact" of the day.
