ATL, Mrs. Fen and I have pretty much given up on Christmas cards...we did think of making a faux "letter" to send out, complete with photos from Mrs. Fen's tooth implant and my colonoscopy- just to counter the letters we receive containing reports of perfect, honor roll students and pics of the family ski trip in Aspen, the marathons run in Germany, etc.:H

My brother does that, and as much as he (I THINK I KNOW EVERYTHING) and I (I DO know everything!) clash, it's funny. Gives a little of the good things, but mostly the hilarious incidents that have happened in his family, but since he's my brother they are always weird. It gives people a chance to laugh instead of rolling their eyes.

I HATE those kinds of newsletters. Just got one the other day about spending the month of September travelling Europe. I wanted to repond......like fen....2011 was a wonderful year for our family. We are in constant financial distress, Jan had a colonoscopy and Bret and Jan are both slowly going blind. Jan continues to work in the ghetto dealing with underiables for a mere pittance of a salary....blah, blah, blah:H:H
And her new best friends are a cyber family of alkies!!!
