I am drugged to the hills....all from the doctor..before anybody that doesn't know me worries..
have had the biggest head cold I've ever known..lucky had an apptment with my doc this morn so I could tell her and get the meds for it...but WoW..DOZY STUFF....

I chose to be honest with my doc and came clean about "why" I didn't go to the blood test, also about my problems with Ollie....and that I had been drinking
she was actually calm and not judgemental or angry...which mega helped..I truly didn't want a lecture from her..but she was really good,not happy, but not giving to me.. she listened while I explained all whats gone on, and she was...understanding, not reproaching.. been with her for past 6 years so she knows me & history & has seen it all...!!

5 large spud peeled & chopped

285ml double cream

i heaped teaspoon of english mustard
large handful flat leaf parsley finely chopped
450grm haddock or cod, skinned, pin boned, skinned and cut into strips.
pinch of nutmeg.

I like to add a few prawns too.

Boil spuds till cooked, pop in eggs with them for 7 mins. Steam spinach over the pot for 5 mins.
Take out eggs and mash spuds with s&p, evoo and a little nutmeg.
Cool eggs under the tap, shell and quarter. Squeeze extra water from spinach.

Fry onion & carrot in a little evoo for 5 mins then add the cream, cheese, lemon juice, mustard and parsley.

Put fish, eggs and spinach in oven dish and mix gently, pour over the sauce and top with mash.

Cook in preheated oven 230c for 25-30 mins till golden brown and scoff.
Should serve 4 folks with decent portions.

Ah thats really great that you have such a good doctor Jan, it can make all the difference. Honesty is always the best policy as when all is said and done the only person we are really lying to is ourselves.

yep honey..it's a real "in the head job"...

don't like it at all..seems to be drying up, but it's the nightime when I can't breathe thru my nose...

all clear at the mom...butshite these sachets and pills are strong..
not gonna complain..gonna get a good sleep without thinking of the other shit...

But it does make all the difference using a good virgin olive oil..
we are lucky here must be tons cheaper than what you guys pays..

Molly it is one of those recipes that you can get away with loads so no need to be too fussy.
