    Yep it is.

    Pottery?? Nice one.
We get given 200 quid a year to put towards whatever course we want to do. I will either put it towards my NLP one or maybe try something new

I have noticed a lot of you-well, most of you are in long term relationships. Just wanted to say that I admire you-and yes-envy you a bit. It's not quite the same to restart a relationship and find someone after you have kids and are older. Not saying it's impossible but it's not quite the same thing. Even my mother who lived with my alkie father for 30 yrs or so loved him till the end. She used to say he was always the 18 yr old lad that she had first met in her eyes. It's kind of like that with our best mates that we've known since we were kids-they still seem "young" to us. So...a clip that I love but am starting to rethink because maybe I've just seriously fecked up with my free spirit hippy thinking.

              True story alert........

Many moons ago I was at one of my daily outpatient detoxes sitting there quietly minding me own business and reading me Daily Mail. The bloke opposite me had obviously had a few cans that morning suddenly jumped out of his chair waving a pencil at me. His exact words as far as I can recall were.

"Just look at you sitting there. You f***ing snobby b**** reading your f***ing Dail Mail. I could stab you to death with this pencil. I used to be in the S.A.S.'

Luckily one of the staff was in the room and quickly de-penciled him.

BTW way I do not believe one single word written in the Daily Mail. I sometimes even question the date.

Gawd, it's just one of those things I'll never forget.

I just sat there like a startled rabbit and tried not to laugh. I reckon the nearest he'd been to the Army was watching The Great Escape.

Expattie... Mr. Wonderful and I only got together 3 1/2 years ago and I'm one of the errrrmmm.. ummm... 29 year olds And, it is the best relationship I've ever had... without question. Hang in there No matter what, it'll only hit ya when you least expect it, when it doesn't fit into any plans, etc... if you go LOOKING for a mate all you find is loons. My experience, anyways - don't ask :H

A get-together would be awesome! But you peeps are light years away from me :upset:

Lol at expat an jc funny stories. Anon running is not for me but id oa lot of brisk walkimg. I'm thinking of going back to Zumba one or two nights a week when it starts back in new year. Its tough but fun but i didn't keep it up this year and only did two classes. I'll see wot else comes up class wise. Yeah expat it is hharder to met some one when ur older and i don't have kids. Seems most men in our age group don't want commited relationships just casual and mostly sexual which i'm not into we deserve more. Yeah startyi do feel lonely at times and sometimes with not working. Just hoping things pick somer time soon.
