Morning all, fascinating read back today, given me lots to think about!

Sorry I was AWOL yesterday, went on a shopping trip to Bath, flipping heck you should have seen it. Never seen anywhere so crowded, some shops had bouncers on the door!

Needless to say did hardly any shopping, bought some makeup for other daughter in Debenhams but could have got that locally. Had nice lunch tho!

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday, dunno what I'm doing yet but it won't involve shops

        There you are, Sooty.
        Wondered where you'd got to.

Frightens the life out of me Noocastle at this time of year.

Oney I'm with you on that New Year thingy. Blooming hate it. But I hang on to knowing that I'm going to wake up super early without a hangover.

Last year on New Years Day I ran around in the garden about 8.30am ish and made snow angels while I was still in me nightie.

Do you know I have more than a sneaking suspicion I had an addiction to chocolate. I sometimes have a wee bar and it doesn't half set of a craving for another 10. It's agony a bit like trying to moderate me drinking.
I can believe what you say about the chocolate addiction, Jackie. I'm kind of the opposite in that I never buy chocolate and I never have any cravings for it. They can stick as much of the stuff as they like next to me as I queue up to pay for my groceries in the Co-op and honestly, I'm not even remotely tempted.

          Morning sooty

Ackshully the neighbours were away, but I would have done it anyway. I was in a cracking mood.

Well I truly hope you do it again next year sounds a good way to start things off.

I don't know how to do the quote thing on only part of a post so I think Stirly will be the champ for quite a while yet!
