Cats Holiday
Irish Lady,
I think that perhaps I have found your moggie's accomplice (or kidnapper). Have you noticed any charges on Northwest Airlines? This felonius feline has been creating havoc throughout Northwest Hubs, such as Detroit, to which I was an unfortunate witness. Indeed, he absconded with two of my credit cards which were later tracked to an upper class grooming service for classy Persians. Irish Lady, your feline friend did look in need of a good comb out. Could this be your wayward moggie? Please be very careful. Although my deliquent Leo is not a bad sort, there have been complaints lodged against him by NORMAN, king of the condo complex, and I am constantly trying to smooth things over. Leo persists in sitting on NORMAN'S stoop, just to irk him. Do not underestimate what lengths he might stoop to in order to obtain money or the favors of your adorable girl. Although he does not know how to sign his name, he his fairly adept at forging mine. Please be careful, Irish Lady.
Thank you and my most sincere apologies,
Pansy

wow...I just woke up from a long catnap...yes I drank the tea! I have received a note - apparently cut out from a cat-alogue and pasted on the back of a cardboard scratching post- and I have the demands. And yes- they are traveling on Northwest Airlines. You are right about that! Thay want to now to to Katmandu. Yep- first class and they want the groomer to go too. Seems there is some kind of film festival there...cant make out all the details...

Lisa, you're right ... I just phoned Kathamdu ... very bad line but there IS a film festival on. Some of the movies being screened are "Pussy Galore, "Mad Manx", "Cat Ballou" and "Cat on a hot tin roof". Couldn't get details of the rest.
Gosh, they've made huge catsh withdrawals. We must stop them

Yep, you're right. My 3 cats heard about the festival and of course wanted to go. I put my foot down this time and said "no". Lucy the black Persian gave up whining after a while. Ceasar, the Main Coon, did not speak to me for a few days; but Rossi, the juvenile slincker who still has all his equipment, put up such a fuss and got himself in a frenzy. He got a fever and a bad catharr so I had to bring him to the clinic. The Dr. said that the disappointment was probably the catalyst, that brought on his illness. Well, they gave him catacillin and did a catscan and kept him in the cat ward over the holidays. We just picked him up this afternoon and the bill was probably higher than the ticket to the festival would have been. Well, live and learn. Watch out, first they steal your heart and then they empty your wallet.
