    Army Thread 7th December

    Happy hump day (except Pingu)

We've had some lovely summer rain overnight and it looks like its going to be a nice cool day. Except that to the Northern people, 20C is positively sweltering :H

Another busy day ahead, although things should start slowing down towards the weekend.

    Have a wonderful Wednesday, all
    I'll do whatever it takes

                  Morning Tigger, Tawny and Expatty
Sage advice Tawny, embuggerances can feck off.
Can hear the wind blowing here and its pitch dark but its going to be cold and bright later on. Love crisp winter days like that. Gives me the chance to wear my lovely warm scarves and gloves and funky boots

Quick read back on last night's thread. :goodjob: JC! You'll reach that goal for sure by Christmas.
And as for piglet....I'm sitting on my hands too. I don't want the piglet thread to become a negative thing. Just feeling a bit frustrated. The quote "It is just IS a stuffed piggie after all!" annoyed me. Well, YES, in reality he (I can't call him "it") is just a soft toy but he's a symbol of MWOers sharing a part of their world AF. I look at the MWO journey as a bit more than us just playing with a toy. But obviously some people just don't get it.

OK ... I'll jump in here re the Piglet. I also didn't feel he was just 'a stuffed piggie after all'. He, like Tigger was a major symbol - one which connected us all. I didn't know whether to further stuff that thread by reminding people of Tip's original concept. Like ... "keep him around for a week or so ... then move him on."

For those of us who have followed the travels from day 1, it was devastating (yes! I mean devastating!) that the Tigger didn't make it back to Tipps. What a wonderful collection of souveniers he could have brought back to the Cubs. And I really believe that the simple stuffed animals have the capacity to bring education, pleasure and fun - not only to us ole pissheads, but also to our kids who have been following their travels.

Expat was kind enough to risk resurrecting the concept and started us off with brilliant Parisian stuff. Please, let's try to get this brilliant concept back on track.
