We've been through really poor times, and fairly prosperous times, and back in the reeeeeeeaaaaaalllllllllllly poor times when the kids were little, my sister used to have a mobile home in Kerry which we used to vanish to whenever we had no money. All my kids -- to this day --- talk about the Kerry holidays as by far the best they ever had -- head and shoulders over Disneyworld et al. and bearing in mind two of them are heading 30 - I reckon that record will stand"It's not your job to like me, it's mine!"

Now you've got me thinking about holidays.
I'll bet a pound to a piece of salt that my two when they about 5 and 6 would say the long weekend in a log cabin in February (dirt cheap) and Sir Dylan the Dog fell through the ice on a lake.It could be worse, I could be filing.

I was as tall as I am now when I was bout 13 and used to go to the Grove cos all my mates did, but none of the boys used to ask me to dance cos I was too tall --- and Janis's song used to absolutely break my heart --- had a little gulping moment listening to her a few minutes ago, and thanked some higher being for me not being that sad awkward gangly teenager anymore. Sorry, it was just that I think my post about Kerry meant summat to you, and your FB thingie meant summat to me:l
You did make me feel much better about the holidays tho, it has been bothering me a lot."It's not your job to like me, it's mine!"
