    Army Thread 10th December

Your pool and garden are gorgeous Tips:l We have our tent ready to come and camp out for a visit:H
I think it was Molly who posted that she use to be a book snob but now reads paperbacks and stuff. I was like that too-a book snob. But now books (and my duvet) have become my "new" drug. Chick lit , Harlen Coben stuff whatever..as long as it keeps my mind busy!
We have to go buy some new winter boots for little B today. (Oney, don't feel guilty about the winter coats for the girls-that kind of purchase is a necessity-and you got a great deal!:l) And then there is a kiddy thing going on at the library this afternoon for Christmas. But I am taking it easy. House could use a bit (lots!) of tidying -but I'll get around to it little by little. I'll probably be popping in and out here during the day. Little monster is now awake. I miss you guys during the week when I can't get on the computer.

          I second that!

Good to hear that you've sorted things out with your brother, Mrs A.

Hope you're feeling better soon Jan.

I need to go out, but it's so bloody cold outside and so lovely and warm inside that I've decided to make something to eat instead. The great outdoors can wait!

Good morning Starters, LJ, Tippers, Mrs A, Expatty, Pannooooooooo, Mariooooooooo, Reccybear, Oney and all those yet to drop by

I was treated to a nice missed call from me daughter a 3am. So I had to have a bit of a fret for a couple of hours. Then it dawned on me she'd hit my number on speed dial instead of the taxi firm she uses.

Dawg I'm well knackered. Could do with lying by Tip's pool while he runs in and out of the house with many cups of coffee.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Welcome to the land of the living, latecomers

Here are a few piccies I took today:

                      A granadilla blossom:

Two of RC's Cayenne pepper plants (there are six):

A lone lily (their flowering season is over already):

And a picture of the plates the cubs and I have been making. They're made out of cement - I draw the patterns in the wet cement and we paint and varnish them once dry. We still have to figure what they can be used for :H

                      I'll do whatever it takes

If it hadn't been made out of cement, I could have sent you one. I think the shipping charges on one of the damn things would be equivalent to the GDP of a small country.

Dawg... it is blissfully quiet at the moment. Mrs. T is taking a nanna nap and I bribed the cubs, niece, and eldest cub's geeky friend to take Jasmine for a long walk. They get to buy smoothies on the way.
