:hallo:
Just dropping in for a minute. Some great posts on here today! Good to keep ourselves aware lest we "forget" how horrible the drink really is. I'm having a happy but busy sober Sunday. Like Pingu said...it's tidy up day. It's amazing how trashed the house can get when we work all week and everybody is running in and out to work and school. And everything just keeps building up and waiting for ya!:H So I'm going to get things under control before it all starts up again next week. Another busy one but it calms down from the 19th on.
Special hugs for Jasmine! Glad she's going to be ok!:l

I'm being really brave now and sharing a pic of my nails. OK they dont look much but for me they are the most nails I have ever had. I have not picked them since 6 Nov, and I have had to file the big one for playing the violin. Sadly I need to get polish on asap because without it I would almost certainly lapse back into bad habits :-(
I have a drink problem, I have been AF since 15 March 2011 and I am working hard to stay that way
They don't call me Pingu Purple Pants for nothing....

Good afternoon everyone! Nice to see so many here!
I'm up and showered and bacon sarnies have been procured! Now on to Christmas decoration shopping as apparently 'there are bare bits' still in the house and we can't have that

Afternoon everyone
I'm awake after a marathon sleepathon - 12 hours - I was catching up on lost sleep. Breakfast has been had and now I'm on my second cuppa. Twinings camomile, honey and vanilla tea is to die for! Expensive, but worth every penny. I'm rapidly becoming addicted. :upset:
On the subject of getting drunk, I suppose you could say I was/am fortunate in that 99% of my drinking was/is done behind closed doors, so I rarely made a fool of myself in front of others. Probably could have done with someone to give me the occasional kick up the rear end though.
Good to hear that Jasmine's health is not as bad as feared.

Afternoon everyone just started raining here. Tipps glad Jasmin is ok i'm sure you,re reliefed. Oh Reccie i love that twinnings tea and also peppermint i must stock up as i'm runnin low. Bit more expensive but worth it. I have made a fool of myself drunk over the years and have more than a few cringworthy moments but the past is the past and i try not to dwell on it. Oney i have bad memories of my dad drunk as well and it also left me nervous tho i ended an alco myself i tink he passed on the gene to me and onother sister who also have heavy binges but i think i came out the worst. I'm off to visit my oldest siter in Bray shortly my brother and his wife are picking me up. We havn't seen her for a few wks so be nice to pass a few hours today. Enjoy your sunday afternoon. Be back later. xxx

Hello to all the lovely Army people.
Lots of sleep last night after a big mountain day in the snow.
Off to a Christmas do tonight. Designated driver makes me a saint amongst our friends.
