Oney hasn't given us our Christmas song today. Saw on the news all the crew arriving back and being greeted by their families. Bawled me eyes out.

mollyka;1225088 wrote: I too have read back over last nights thread, and I absolutely agree with what Ktab said, Jan if you are reading now or later, there is no end of support here, but it doesn't sound like you are doing anything to help yourself, and it is very frightening to read those sort of posts when there is nothing we can do about it. When there is a kiddie there it is scary tbh. I would ask you to think about this when you wake up, don't for one second think that we are being holier than thou --- holy shit, I'm the last person to take the high moral ground, and really and truly we WILL be here for you, but I really feel this has to stop - now, give yourself a good shake and look at the realities, ok Ollie may be very bold - and on this one I really really know what I'm talking about, my 2nd son was very very troublesome, and my youngest is no walk in the park either, but that's what we sign up to when we have kids. Read back on some of your posts when you were grieving cos you didn't have him - please. Sometimes when we are in the middle of shit, it's hard to see the 'actual' situation. He's a little boy, and you are his mammy - if his behaviour is so bad, then maybe you need help, if it's just appallingly rude and belligerent - yep, he's a boy Don't take this as an assault at you, it isn't, we are a crowd of alkies trying to make as good a life as we can, and when we see one of us losing themselves, be it through drink or meds or whatever -- we just try to reach out to help. The peeps here saved me from myself only a few weeks ago:l
Jan I hope you didnt take my post last night as being judgemental or harsh for that wasnt my intention.
All is quite clearly not right and as you know there is nothing but support and caring here in the army for you.
I wish I had a simple answer but I dont. I do know however that things have a habit of getting much worse, along with the consequence of our actions if we do nothing. Please think long and hard and make a decision to sort this before it spirals out of control.
Great that you have taken the first step and gotten in contact with the clinic, make sure you follow up with them.Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?
