                  It was dark. I live in the dark. My fridge upstairs was down so had been accustomed to running up and down the stairs to the basement fridge..I had slippers on that were too big. My little dog (RIP) decided to beat me to the top of the stairs and stand there as I was on a trip down. My foot caught under her, lifted me (she was a little tank) and I took a flying squirrel and landed face first halfway down the stairs. I then proceeded to toboggan down the rest of the way on my face which ripped the skin from between the eyebrows in a triangle shape to mid nose. Busticated nose, split from lip to nose as well needed 48 stitches in my face. NOT fun-NOT pretty.

                            Zenners, I thought I was a pretty rockin mama til I hit 50, then 51 and soon 52. It really is downhill looks wise from there, but you're are right, I am and always have been much more than my looks.

                              I experienced flashbacks for months Oney. It wasn't until the next day that I actually recalled the impact and physically shuddered.
