Noal Has 60 Days AF
Congratulations Noal!
I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.
Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.
Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

Wow! thanks for the thread, didn't know you guys did this. Guess I need to venture around the site more, and yes I will be looking forward to my 90 day thread.
I feel awesome right now. I know the campral has been a big help this time around but this site and seeing all of these replies and congrats really means a lot too. Thank you very much!.
Because of MWO I now have a tool box that is working and I built it on my own...of course I borrowed some tools from you guys...thanks. I think making that tool box was very important from the start. Its something that all new comers should try to do right away.
What being AF is doing for me:
.My family is now back to a happy family...can't believe how selfish I was and what I put them through. I am so thankful I am sober when I look at my kids now, this is how it is suppose to be. I need to be there for them growing up and I need to be sober doing it. They deserve a better me!...they were by my side throughout my in and outs with AL and must have believed I could actually do it some day and for that I am very thankful. I often think about how ugly and sad it would be if I kept going and eventually destroyed our family, its a terrible feeling.
.I am wide awake, white eyed confident and ready to go early every morning. At work the stress just rolls off my back like water on a duck....stress at work was one of my biggest triggers/excuses. At home on the weekends I am up early and taking care of business like a father and husband should.
. I am confident in everything I do now. Before I would need to drink a six pack before anything social, actually that six pack was needed just to mow the lawn and everything else I needed to do....Alcohol had me fooled....and I don't have to worry about people smelling it or constantly looking in my review mirror while driving...I got away with a lot of driving with AL...dumb.
.I am eating three good meals a day. Lots of people here talk about loosing weight, I am gaining it back. Before I would try to eat some breakfast but never lunch because I knew I would get a better buzz after work on an empty stomach...bad,bad,bad
.I feel healthy, I look healthy and I am happy when I look in the mirror every morning...wish I had a dollar for every time I looked in the mirror in the morning and call myself an idiot.
There isn't one negative thing about being AF.............. my life is positive and normal now.
Thanks for being here for me everyone!
