100 DAYS......
Hi Everyone, I always feel really childish posting my AL free days total. And, I know that some suggest we shouldn't be counting BUT today is my 100th day AL free. I never thought I'd get back on the wagon after 6 years of being abstinent and then trying to challenge the beast, but I'm finally getting there! Thanks to you all for your unconditional support. Happy Monday!!!!! :hIt is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.

100 DAYS......
Congratulations Nicelife! Some people count and some don't. I am a counter, in the beginning it was every day and now its weekly and I have a site to go to if I want to see the days. I feel that counting has helped me. It saved me from caving in, and it sets a goal for me.I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.
Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.
Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

100 DAYS......
Nice Life, CONTRATULATIONS.
So glad you posted - it really helps us newbies to hear from you veterans! Re counting - I know some people don't thing you should (Jason Vale) because he says we should feel so happy and grateful and that we're not missing out on anything -- that counting makes it seem like we are. I don't agree with that for myself. I think reaching goals is satisfying and makes me feel I've accomplished something worthwhile.
THANKS AGAIN FOR POSTING!

Good for you Nicelife! Meh, count away, be proud and shout it out! Unwasted is right imo, you've achieved a goal and what better place to share your joy? If you haven't already, post on the Sober Sunday thread. Keep it going!Psalms 119:45

I'm not perfect, never will be, but better than I was and not as good as I'm going to be.
