YAWN. Just poured another cup of coffee. TWO more days . I'm trying to take it one class at a time and not try to think too much how I just want it to be over because it makes the day soooooo much longer.
Yesterday was lovely though. My mother-in-law brought the kids into Paris to meet up with me after I got off work and we walked around to look at the Christmas windows and do some shopping. Fun to look at things I could never afford in a zillion years. Like a ruby frog ring for 26,000 euros or a diamond encrusted watch for 215,225 euros!:H Nah, those things were just for a laugh-don't even care about jewlery that much. But the DeBeers section had some beautiful things. Fun just to look. The perfume section was the best-we sprayed ourselves with about a million perfumes and stunk up the car on the way home. If I can ever REALLY quit smoking, I might just treat myself to Dior Addict. I love the scent and it could be nice to replace a negative addiction with a nice good smelling one.

We don't have a Christmas tree, but I have fairy lights up in the tree next to the pool. I'll post a piccie when I have a chance.

One more day for me then a day off and then 1 and a half days to go.
Right now I am so looking forward to a few days of chilling. Just want to relax, watch films and make plans for 2012

She is not out of the woods yet but the sea air defo helped Anon, she onl woke up about 6 times coughing last night which is down from about 30 and both of us not getting any sleep!

Good morning Oney & Whizzie

We don't really celebrate Christmas, Oney. The cubs receive gifts, and Mrs. T and I give one another something, but that's about it. I am on the verge of cancelling Christmas in our house this year, though. The youngest has been absolutely impossible. What was supposed to be a fun discussion about what she would like turned into a session where she shot down each and every suggestion made by the rest of the family. Nothing was good enough. But I'm sticking to my guns: there's a tighter budget this year, and she can't go over it. Period.

How old is she now Tipps??? 12/13?? Girls that age are a nightmare, attitude etc, it's all ahead of me, I don't think boys are half as bad.

We have always celebrated Christmas in a HUGE, over the top way...I had 36 people to buy for and to be honest, it is just a joke, I have to start in Sep and if I ever suggested buying only for the kids in each family, there would be murder.

(have to admit, I love it tho) but not the debt part of it

She's 12 1/2 and driving me NUTS. I decided not to take any leave between x-mas and NY, simply because I don't want to be at home with a child like that. It drives me up the wall. I'd rather be bored at the office than be in an unpleasant atmosphere.
