    Army Thread Wednesday 21st December

Morning army, just a quickie cos I'm going out shopping. I hope Mia and Mrs A's grandson get better very soon, it's awful when kids are ill. :l to them both

I'm feeling a bit down in the dumps myself today so when I get back I'm sticking around on here. An old colleague just txtd and asked me to go for coffee, but I dont like her so I said I was busy! Aren't I terrible?

Have a good day lovely people

Aw fanks you are lovely :l. I've decided I'm not going shopping, I was only going cos we get this little bus on a Wednesday and friday so theres no hassle about parking, but I don't need anything.

I'm going to have a cup of coffee and then I'm taking the dog out for a long walk, which will be therapeutic and it's free!

          How is Mia today?

She had a bad night with high temp but the Nurofen has sorted that out, will take her another few days to recover I think.

Hi Sooty, its not terrible at all, why go out and be in the company of someone you dont like? Makes no sense to me at all.

One Knee, I did a quick check up on that crowd and it doesnt look good. Personally being in the same business I dont see how they or other companies like them can make a profit at what they charge without cutting lots of corners as it is time consuming to set up and organise individual items for lots of different people. Below are some reviews but I do hope you are one of the lucky ones and it arrives on time.

edit: as for this one that shows the quality

                    Army Thread Wednesday 21st December

                    Morning army!

As tabbers said, there's quite a lot going on in the barracks today, so I won't attempt to comment on everything.

Jackie, huge congratulations on reaching your target weight. There are so many people who attempt to lose weight and so few people who actually manage to do so successfully that I think yours is a remarkable achievement.

Mrs A, I know you've got your plate full at the moment with all the ill-health going on in your family, but I'd hate it if you left the army. I honestly find your running exploits truly inspirational and love reading about them. We in the army need people like you in the barracks. And maybe you might need us from time to time when things are going a bit shite?

Got my 13-year old Polo serviced and MOTed yesterday and they didn't find much that needed doing, so the bill was very much on the low side . A pleasant surprise cos this is such an expensive time of year.

                    Happy hump day folks.

Ok going out for the therapeutic dog walk now, the dog doesn't look very keen cos he's all curled up in his basket, but never mind him! It's me that's important

I could make it to Reading by 1pm pingu, but can't wait that long for food. Risotto with grapes and spinach and stuff being made here.
