I live near Woodstock in Oxfordshire, pingu, so not all that far from you. Your roast chicken with trimmings does sound appetising though!

I'm definitely a gannet, I can eat bigger meals than Mr Sooty, but he, unlike me is moderate in all things!

Been for the walk, had salad for lunch, feeling a tad more cheerful, hows everyone doing?

Everyone improving. Babe now discharged on oral antibiotics

Son in Law on mega antibiotics but I can see his arm is improving

Daughter improving pain was mainly from a dislocated jaw.

Husband still snotting and coughing

Best bit was me being breathalysed on the way to the hospital early this morning. Doing random tests around here as a christmas campaign. God I so nearly drank last night but didn't.

Anyway feeling better now and glad I am here.

OMG I have just had a major shock, had a friend and his wife round for lunch and he took ill just as they were about to go home (no jokes about cooking please, it wasn't that sort of ill), I have never seen someone look so scarily near to death, I am freaked out. We called 999 and they helped us until the ambulance came. He's gone to A&E now. He wasn't a well person anyway with diabetes and numerous heart problems. I am shaking to fuck now. Can anyone send a hug please.......

I thought my grandson was going to die when he stopped breathing.
