7 months sober!
I just thought that I would announce that today I am 7 months sober. I feel so free. I don't miss drinking, or its effects. I don't miss walking home drunk off my butt/wasted. I don't miss the hangovers. I don't miss worrying about how bad of a hangover that I will have. I don't miss trying to control my drinking. I don't miss worrying or having others worry about my drinking. I don't miss drinking too much. I could go on and on but I won't bore you all. Best of all is that I have no desire to drink or to return to drinking. I want to say never, but I won't. Instead I will just say for today I won't drink, and I will worry about tomorrow when tomorrow gets here (also its my birthday but I will remain sober).
I pledge to not drink today. I also want to thank God and everyone that has helped me to get where I am today. Without you all and God, I know that I would be still be drinking.I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.
Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.
Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.Tags: None

7 months sober!
Congratulations ... well done.Tipplerette
I do this for my children, my grandchildren, my health, my peace of mind, and mostly for the opportunity to learn to live with my true, unfiltered, clear-headed, vulnerable self.
