Morning Army, hope the cold doesn't take hold tabbers, and i'm very pleased that Mia is improving, toast has to be a good sign.
Panto was good last night but too much singing and not enuf "he's behind you".
Doc changed my blood pressure meds yesterday and told me to take first pill last night in case I felt dizzy or faint, and the advantage of taking it at night was that I could sleep it off! I was feckin scared and stayed awake till 2. I was fine and am fine today, kinda ironic when I think of all the times i've gone to bed feeling like that in the past!
Filthy day out there so going to do some cooking and cleaning. I'll be popping back at regular intervals to make sure you're all behaving.
Mrs A I know the Wirral Way! I have rellies who live in Ellesmere Port, enjoy your run.

Good morning Troopers!!
Looks like there's lots of Christmas spirit here today. Cards and presents being received, cakes being made, tree being decorated.
Mrs. A - hope your family members recover in time for Christmas. My, you have certainly had your hands full the last while. :huggy to you. Glad to hear you're going for a run. Mrs. A time - just what you need.
Jackie - those cakes sound delish. Now will you really actually eat any of them? Or will you get freaked out since it's been so long since you had cake and such, and just sit there and look at them?
Oney - glad to hear that Mia is feeling better. That is one brave little girl you've got there - to be so sick and not complain. Any other child would have been crying all the time. Hope those antibiotics kick in big time today and she's feeling fine for Christmas.
Panno - how nice that you had Jackie's present to cheer you up. Isn't it great that things happen like that, just when you need a lift?
Startypants - love your idea of a gratitude list. So often we get caught up in the problems of everyday life and forget how blessed we are to be alive and have a roof over our heads and food on our table. Not to mention friends and family who love and support us.
Jan, I really hope with all my heart that you can get your head straightened out ASAP. It's Christmas and you have all your kids with you. Jamie has come to visit and it will probably be a while before you are all together again. Please do your best to make this Christmas as happy as last year was when you were sober and clean and there for your children. It's up to you and only you to make this Christmas a happy memory or a sad one for them. If you don't chances are you won't remember a thing but they will have bad memories instead of glad ones. Please put your children first and make sure that this Christmas is one they will want to remember.
:waving: to all the rest of you whether at work or on holidays. Hope you're having as positive a day as possible.
Oh, and even tho' I didn't bring my kids to work (35 and 32 yrs old), younger son dropped by to see me and I just had a phone call from older son.
Back to work now...For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.
