Had a hump day yesterday was exhausted but normal service resumed after a big sleep.

Already done my 5k race. I left the whole house sleeping as I snuck out at 8.30 and was back at 10.
I wish I had known the pleasure of a sober life years ago. The problems still come but handled better without either being drunk or suffering a hangover

Hello Army! Very calm here at the expat house. I hope all of you who are having guests have a lovely evening. And those of you who are alone or just not celebrating have a lovely evening too. I must say--I don't quite feel like it is a special day yet. But I am still grateful to be here and sober. I did just go for a walk with my son and pug dog -and kind of stare at the sky and think about the universe kind of stuff. We'll enjoy our evening and pig out :H and I MIGHT stay up till midnight. But not sure yet.
