Bad soar throat here and another morning spent at the hospital. And I forgot to buy cat food.......so off to buy it because it guilt will stop me sleeping tonight. And I had to take the christmas tree down today so that my crazy superstitious mother wouldn't think I was inviting a year of bad luck into my life by taking it down any other day. Most be an Irish thing maybe.

One should ALWAYS have a two week emergency supply of cat food... dry and tinned. Sorry if that sounds officious, it's just that my cats demanded I had emergency stocks...
usually cured salmon, roe, wilderbeast, venison etc.

Oh gawd, I am rooly tied. Been to oprah... with David Parkin (from Opratunity Australia ) as Sarastro.
Was sung and spoke in Aussie english.
Absolutely briliant props and stuff... but I didn't take my phone or camera as I had one of those silly little purse things that you can only fit 1 kleenex tissue into, so no piccies.
But, I did get a couple of pics from the Wildlife photographer of the year exhibition which I'll put up innext coupledays, TAWN you and I could have won a bloody prize if we'd entered some of our piccies.They are going more andmore for gimmicky techniques and what equipment you have rather than the "shit in the right place at the right time shot"

OK off to beddy bye as we are doing the Spit Bridge to Manly walk tomorrow.

SOL is short for 'Steam Of Love' which relates to steam mops. Less known, is that it used to also be the name of an ancient Celtic 16 stringed instrument, popular in County Mayo in the 19th. century (Lady Gregory and Maude Gonne were huge fans), but thought to have originated from the village of Kenwood in Northern Crete around 650 A.D.

Morning all

Still too sick to exercise............it may be hard to believe but my life used to be relatively peaceful and beutifully calm, even with kids. I can't pinpoint when it changed but I do know that eventually I needed to encounter these difficulties. A terminally ill parent and a injured child are pretty common occurences in life. My coping skills are probably not that great because I never had to deal with anything major before.

Ragsy.........I thought I had 3 boxes of cat food. It turns out that I had 3 empty boxes of catfood stored neatly in the cupboard by my toddler.

Sunny....people think when you are pregnant they can say the rudest of things.

For what it's worth Ella, I think you are dealing with a hell of a lot, and doing a crackingly good, and very graceful job of it!
