What great news about the book, and that Tawn, G, and others were able to give some sage advice.... which you took.

I often don’t feel able to give advice as it comes out a bit clumsy and not really expressing what I want to say. And others on this thread are so much more able to say things just the right way, the way I’d like to. So Undies, please don’t think I’m ignoring you or don't care. I do. it’s just that at times I can’t express my thoughts all that well, so I don't say anything, or very little. It is frustrating for me and I sometimes feel inadequate. So there's my little bit of soul exposure for to-day.

Lunch of vege samosas from the Indian around the corner from the old house....back from buying comestibles for the girls....I love produce stores. They rank up there with hardware, stationary and the vitamin section of the chemist for me...

Rags DWA was Dirty Weekend Away, and I normally dont do the initial thing, it was just because it was straight after Bridge posted. Except for FIL I suppose, or COTW. I still think DW sounds rude as does DH...

Missy - Lovely post and I'm thrilled for you. I remember how stressed you were at the time and delighted that you've had a successful outcome.

Guess that's the best thing about hanging around and checking in on a daily basis, not necessarily to talk about grog but all the other things that so influence our decisions, plans and actions. We can jointly celebrate each others accomplishments, big or small. Noice.

Been a bit reflective as it's a year since I got 'a bit wet'. Never in any danger but an embuggerance nontheless. Shortly after the flooding I received a gorgeous Care Package from an Undie Angel. Lifted my spirits sky high.

Wow Tawny, what a difference....doesnt the volume of water astound you?

Our new home's underneath and yard all went under last year to just a foot under the floorboards of the living areas....I know it sounds strange but it's a big difference for this house, from last year to this year. Abandoned and left - to new paint and animals and noisy locusts everywhere. On my morning walk's you can see the houses around being raised - and I mean RAISED - and renovated...

Found this today too, I'm going to order the hummingbird, coz its like my tat..

the kitty is already fairly tame - purry little number, very confident & cheeky & lots of crab-walking & running flat out to tease the dogs. So yes I think she will stay. Husband is besotted.
