Nooo Rags. I meant 'matronly' as in the white hospital style shirt you were wearing. Looked like a hospital coat/top a Sister or matron would wear. Well, at least in the hospitals i've been in. You know, the ones where you get a noice jacket

RAGGSY's REVIEW: Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

First, I was put in a seat only 4 rows from the front, so I got a bit head spinny when the (excellent)opening title sequence was running and when the film was panning ..

I loved the cat in the movie, it is a real star performer. It's a beautiful tabby. I think Mr Craig might secretly be a cat person.

Daniel Craig puts in a good performance (he’s aged since 007) and Rooney Maya is an excellent Lisbeth. Did you know he has some large moles on his back? I guess from a skin cancer aware country it’s the sort of thing I notice. And I wish he'd shave once in a while.

The story differs a little from the book and original movie in a couple of details, but it doesn’t detract. ( and I was trying not to make too many comparisons with the first movie..)

Christopher Plummer will be, for me, forever, Capt von Trapp, however he is a very good Vanger.

There are some great one liners in the movie... but i won’t give them away, plus a couple I missed (going deef).
I’m sure they used the same bridge as in the original film.

I enjoyed the movie, and yep, go if you enjoyed the books and the first movie.
They slugged me $18.50 a ticket, so any more movies I’m going to make sure I go on cheap Tuesday!!

After, I had a latish supper then walked home past lots of people who had had far too much to drink whilst thinking... that was what I used to do.

Well these acronyms have me defeated! But I do know (for juja's sake) that COTW is cow (or any other c-word!) of the week as I have cause to use it on a regular basis!

I bought my new ukulele last night on the credit card after having paid for the car! Justification: it is so much nicer playing an instrument made of wood than one made of plastic, it didn't break the bank, and Mr B in melt down mode over stuff with his boy so I need something to keep me sane!

I shall post a photo later today as it really is a beautiful looking instrument!

Orf to work today. Just gonna cruise and take it easy. Noice dream about a deceased ex girlfriend last night. Don't have them often. We had met up again, and were beginning to be an item......:upset: I look back with fondness, and appreciate having known her, albeit for far too short a time.

Day 3, a bit groggy and a restless night, but okay here. Reckon i'll be 'normal' by tomorrow. Bring it on.

Morning Undies...well I'm still going...had the weirdest dream that I woke up KNOWING I'd been drinking and refusing to finish a full glass of scotch...what the hell - note NO abbreviations....I feel like crap....also note, I HAVENT been on a binge last night, didnt even come close...just feel like it...and not asking for free psych advice but is this because of the FIL sitch?

anyway, I am going to curl up here for a little bit then start getting together stuff for the girls, plus did I tell you the real estate cocked up and I am subsequently "showing" the old house to potential renters...FIL suggested I have a career in that direction...I said fuck that...
