Morning shameless Charmaineophiles...and other non cooking Undies and Internationals...speaking of which where is Saph? I think I am doing a Julia and moving forward...the frustration factor with FIL is nowhere near as bad....must be the yoga, cant blame the drugs...

Bridgey sending emoticonage like mad....must confess to an ordinary day yesterday, bumped into a girlfriend at Officeworks and nearly wept (!) where does that come from??

Anyway, one chook egg in and the girls are cackling away....may I just mention that Sunny seems to be ruling the roost...

Morning all

Got a beautiful night sleep last night............finally had the bed to myself without my toddler constantly flinging his body around, usually likes his feet in my face. Feel good.

Another hot day but what can you do, it is summer. Off to a really cold lake with friends and kids. Gym before that.

Almost feel myself but not quite yet. Amazing the power of lingering boozy chemicals. The other day I got stopped at a booze bus before 9am in the morning. It really scared me to think that another morning I might have blown a number..........any number would have been an embarrassment to me.

Bridge, you are without a doubt one of the MOST enjoyable, quirky, insightful, entertaining members of MWO, with such a way with words. It's almost too much fun reading your posts.
As per request, was going to post pics of tonight's delish supper, but Wednesdays are grands days, and it seems a swarm of locusts descended on the food before I could plate it. Oh well, trust me, it was enjoyed.

Hot here too; spent the morning fixing some guttering in case it rains again one day. Had a splendid lunch of fried rice, a must-have the day after a curry meal.

I've bored myself so will bugger off before I bore youse aswell.

Hi everyone, I apologise profusely for being MIA for a bit!
Took mare up to AI centre Monday, stayed with a newly graduated vet friend & had pizza & talked vet shit with her & her colleague who, awestruck by my sheer presence, remained glued to every word, story & anecdote I said. Quite ego- boosting really.
Ah but they are young , enthusiastic & couldn't believe that you could accidentally set a dog on fire when cigarrette ash drops onto it if it has been sprayed with Frontline...(not me, Undies, a colleague!!!)
Techie, mwah for having my eggs. The mint sets off the feta. Speaking of which, an entire tub of Bulgarian white goat's milk feta has nearly been consumed & it is truly wonderful stuff.
Ruby, I too would love to see/hear/read of the culinary delights you have up your sleeve.

In my limited news, harvest FINALLY FINISHED thank firk. Got a horsey event event 2nd weekend for next 2 months nearly.
Kitten is over active, over ratbaggardly, & over cheeky. Even Rosie dragging her around by a hindleg doesn't cramp her style. No name yet tho!!!
Magpie good, all dogs good, me feeling better.

Arvo all. I've had a moment or two today where I am wondering what the hell I am doing with my life...the cake of which has been iced by the back seat running comments from the two locusts I have in my custody discussing in graphic detail where they would go should there be a zombie apocalypse...is this where all my energy is going? And will it get better? I think I might need to revisit the applied science of mothers of boys = drinking...

I think because harvest has finished & I have been off the farm, doing some productive stuff, happs, I have a spike of interest in stuff other than myself.
I think I am quite self-absorbed & would like to change that as I consider it a fault!

Like you happs, my FIL annoys me but yours sounds like a bit more of a prick....(sorry!)
....& now he's gone so I'm a bit more...umm...non-conforming? make sense? didn't think so.
