I saw the charmaime book at my gym in their bookclub thing. It was $35, hardback and had more recipes than I would ever manage to cook.

I had a lovely Fil........it is my husband that suffers with the inlaws. I really feel sorry for him and I always remind him how lucky he is that I am nothing like my mother.

Oooh, did I mention that on the list of things that are wrong with the house is that some of the doors stick and can cause people to become locked in the bathroom....for ages....theres a worry...you cant make lists in a bathroom unless you have a lot of steam and a BIG mirror...

Back from teacher meetings - all good - and celabatory chew and spew...Maccas no less, and who else is perturbed by the display of kjs on the order board? but it didnt stop me ordering a Mighty Angus - and there is not an Undie to be seen...

Today

Good Things:
1. Found amazing little shoppy thing with yuge bags of pulses and grains and spices and oils and deli. Found chia seeds and Tulsi tea.
2. Did gigantuan veg and fruit shop, ogled handsome fruiterer, came away with a lifetime supply of fresh garlic for nicks.
3. Caught wind of natty stashunary shop with candles and shite to visit sarvi.
4. Arm skin has not become infected with flesh eating virus yet
5. Received Undie inspiration via post.
6. Australia post is not broken any more.

Bad Things:
1.Bought really weird top that looks butt ugly on as do not have patience to try on clothing.
2.Why isn't anyone making nice different doona covers any more? All so same-y.

Hiya Happs

We had a bad storm here and a lot of the roads went under and some washed away. I am not normally out and about during one but am so grateful for my disco right now. It was scary. But the retaining wall still stands.

Never had an angus burger here but I hear they are not the worst.

Supposed to be at the hospital today but didn't make it so am looking forward to relaxing with a nice book when the toddler naps. The others are at a friends. Can't wait for the peace.
