Quick fly by Undies and I will be back shortly, it is literally bucketing down and we now have water views (!) in the backyard....creek is well and truly up!!

I went AWOL today in a burst of retail therapy that netted 3 pairs of shoes, one pair of trousers and a glamour top - all of which I actually tried on, because I had ALL BLOODY DAY to do it and drink copious amounts of coffee, text lots of lovely friends and ask them to come and play, eat vietnamese just OUTSIDE of the food court - coz I dont do food courts and turn up half an hour before pickup with cupcakes to bribe the locusts not to dob me in on the shoes...fat bloody chance - they were off up the drive screaming dibby dobbing banshees.....

think i've imbibed too much caffeinE but it is much better than the alternative, and just as well I manage all the money hey?

And yes, a shovel would be way more cost effective...but I dont like share facilities very much...

Missy......you are not alone in venting here. So vent away.

I am still sober. I love my husband but something about his presence usually makes me want to drink. Well last night I didn't drink but still felt those urges. So I feel really good today.

Happy......love shoes but for some reason I seem to buy more for my daughter instead of myself. Have you discovered endless.com. I ordered some again on the weekend, kidding myself that I am just getting in early for winter. She got 2, I got 1.

Very quiet Undies drawer....will check out endless Ella, ta for feeding my fetish...add to my naughty list that I got a pedicure as well, had to do something about my chook pen feet....have seen some cut off wellies and yes I know I got into the debate on Blunnies vs wellies, but these looked rather cute...??? are they really for non chookie sheilas??

It is really bucketing now...hope your ok Sunny.....but let me tell you come hell or high water, NOTHING is stopping this little monkey getting rid of FIL tomorrow....

Morning Y?ll. been in the drawer, just silently posting in my head.
Working all day and it's been pouring this week. I figured I only have 10 weeks of work if I want until the baby comes. Which is good because it is making me a bit stressed. The head of the company wants daily reportage about why we are not making sales if they're bloated targets are not reached. The past six months we have only beat last years sales for one week. Economic climate is down for our shopping centre and with the rain flooding people in this week is not going to come out any better.
Anyways, catch yas this evening.
Australia Day plans are lunch at a friends house. Quiet and indoors with some people who do not drink.

Do you find yourself spending an extraordinary amount of time thinking about other Undies? I honestly don't know if I could handle Missy's situation as well as she does. The constant embuggerance brought about by the ex-missus would drive me around the bend.

Yep...heaps...

Plan in place...now leaving at 9.45 as traffic is shit, took me an hour and a quarter to do the run with the locusts - they are catching the train from now on....deposit FIL at airport...pickup some stuff from a client...then doctors for a spot check on my boob...hoping I've pulled something but its not quite right sooo...all part of the fun...ok now to get through the run into the airport...check yaz Undies....

And just quickly - Missy my 14 year old thinks we are starving him to death....he spends equal amounts of time in the pantry, fridge and toilet...obviously doing different things, but...anyway will have a think about things for you and Mr B to reconnect, coz I'm thinking the same for me and Mr Happs...that would be nice...but I draw the line at bungy jumping and parachuting stuff...

Tawny - how are the chooks??

Sunny - I sooo hear you on those inflated management targets!!! "Stretch targets" that were impossible to meet without putting yourself on the rack were one reason why I went to work for myself.

Bridge - hope you are out enjoying the sun and the plants. I am having a little bit of success with a nice little flowering succulent in a bit of the garden that has terrible soil and is on a steep angle. I thought it was called a portaculis, but I just googled that and it is definitely not that!!!

I've never really understand the desire to buy shoes. I have jandals, trainers (multiple pairs!) some safety boots, some walking boots, and a pair of work shoes that sit under my desk for when I need to go to a meeting.

Mr B and I are working on the fun list. So far we have three items on it - breakfast out together on Saturday morning after a workout at the gym, after-work picnics while the weather is still nice, and joining the local community choir. I'm trying to persuade him that he would enjoy cycling, but so far he is a bit resistant to the idea

G'day Aspy - I think it's really nice that Mrs. Asp wants to throw you a dry party but, realistically, who'd come? I like your idea of doing something totally 'un-party' - like go-karting or paint balling or indoor rock climbing - instead. Could be a really nice celebration of your special day.

Didn't turn out to be good gardening weather after all - too bloody hot. I know, whinge, whinge, whinge ......

Go-kart racing is a brilliant idea, Aspy. We did it for the eldest cub's birthday last weekend. Great fun was had by all.
