One time I was sunning naked in the backyard, as you can't see into our yard from any of our neighbors. Had a lovely snooze. Woke up and saw a roofer on the neighbors roof. Darn it. Wrapped towel and headed inside. Sunning over.

You know what? - I dont want to vent. I want to get past it. Venting would involve going through the details of what we have been accused of over the last 3 weeks (not to mention the last 7 years) and putting up a defence. Mr B's lawyer has given us advice to "rise above it". I think it is good advice, but it is hard to do. We rather suspect that Mr B will be walking into a manipulated mine field of indigenous politics this afternoon. I was happy to drive up with him in support (not to attend the event, just to drive up!) but he thought that even that would be misinterpreted. When he gets back we have some talking to do, but the theme is "moving forward".

Anyway, comfort food made and eaten, and about to re-load Downton Abbey for the umpteenth +1 time.

I am so grateful to Happy, TF and Ella who were so quick on their responses this arvo - just knowing that there is someone out there makes a big difference and relieves the tears. Thanks :h

Missy - glad you are feeling better. You are having a rough trot recently. Had to laugh at the arvo, it is not even 8.30am here.

Tawny - saucy lady. Did he mention anything over the ginger beer or was he just too embarrassed?

We did't do the drive-in. It was too hot so my friend took them to the movies in the afternoon. Even the cinema was stuffy. Supposed to be a cooler change to humidity today. Middle son is really suffering with the nose bleeds from the heat.

Have no idea what to do today......relaxing is a little hard with a toddler in the house.

Missy, don't know what to suggest. If these attacks are baseless and malicious, it's a shame you have to see them at all. It's almost like an harrassment campaign. Is there any way you could fire back from that perspective?

I repeat my offer to out a contract out on the old bitch (and a few others I have in mind) Maybe we could get a multi buy deal?

I'm up for the multi buy deal....in fact Missy I will chip in more than 50%...

Two things to say I've been stewing/laughing about and then I will leave it.....1. Mr Happs birthday while FIL was here - his present? A copy of FIL's funeral plan....He's paid it up in full....

2. FIL has juice each morning. We dont normally buy it but put 2 x large bottles in the trolley for him. He ran out - mostly coz the middle locust scoffs it - the last night of his visit and wouldnt have had any his last day. So we went to the shops to pick up some stuff and he bought himself juice. One small 250ml can.

Mean old prick.

Missy y'know we are always here for you to vent or not. What we want is for you to be happy and to have the life you deserve. Just want you to start feeling powerful and know that the cards she deals you dont have to hurt unless you let them...much huggage...

Happy - did I get this right. FIL gift to your husband is that he doesn't have to pay for FIL funeral when he dies.

That bloke's no fool. Sneaking up on a pushbike, knowing full well there'd be a very good chance the frog would be nekkid or at least clavicles a flashin' before she knew he was there. He would've incorporated a 'reccy' into the visit, so now his arsenal will likely include....'hey, you haven't got a spare vented mandril floatin around have ya?' or......'Me ride on's bit the dust.
