hiya stirls, have posted the reciupe for the roast honey veg + polenta on the army thread.
your little doggie looks very cute. my little Lentl birdie is my lost child, Stirls, the one I still grieve for. Pathetic but true.

bridgee : a dog with a sore flank? no bites/wounds/swellings? may be indicative of spinal soreness instead. rest said dog with 2 panadol in beaten egg for tonight, see how goes.

Norman of the broken leg got 2 pins inserted, in the 2 middle metatarsii, as all 4 were broken, but is doing well.

Sutured up a fall-off-back-of-motor-bike doggie on Sat, multiple lacerations & a few partially torn tendons. Lots of clipping,scrubbing & suturing. Howver, doggie was a nasty bug-eyed shit whom the owners said (of course!) "wouldn't bite ANYBODY".....until he tried to bite owners face.....sheesh. Anyways, earnt my dollar on last day of 2011.

Now having roasted rack of lamb, garlic & rosemary mashed spuddies, brocc & corn.

Marvellous weather here last few days, though a scorcher yesty, and 35c and cloudy/muggy here today. Bushfire alert after this run of hot days.

Orf to the coalface today, and never know what my day will bring.

thanks bridgee....I love her to bits.
However if she's not pregnant (blood test will be done soon I think!) then I will be not a happy beagle. It's not that I've invested a heap of money (yet!!) , more the fact that I'm such a big distance from the AI centre to get her redone!

Far out - it is afternoon already!! How come the days go so fast when I'm on holiday??!!

Spent the morning at Spotlight, trying to work out how to make new curtains for our bedroom. I know what I want them to look like but I cant work out how to do it :H:H I'm not exactly gifted in the craft/creative department. Anyway, now resolved to get the Spotlight "custom made curtains" people onto the job.

On the other hand I just love knitting and crocheting and I ended up buying some fabulous yarn made from bamboo (Australian) at $1.20 a ball, so I have a few projects planned.

Undies, I am am feeling very proud of myself - after a very difficult Xmas, I have picked myself up, kept the optimism germ alive and tried doing some things without fear that they wouldn't be perfect or that I wouldn't be good enough.
