It's hard when i'm hurting in melbourne (not often), or Saph's hurting down south, Bridge is hurting there, Kas is a hurting in the N.T. Beags, Ella, Ronnie, Mish in the west, Frog in the bush, Reg near me, Missy over there, Aspy up that way, Rags, Grinder, CW, Happs, Sunny, Blondie and all Undies near and far. For me, all we can do is do our best with what we have within us at the time. Sometimes that is a lot, sometimes it's almost enough to just keep ourselves afloat. But i must always try. Try something.

Jeez if reading back didnt take so long I'd actually be able to post...and even now I am skimming so sorry if I miss stuff...

Am going to invest in my steam mopper TODAY! Had to read back to get the model....and finish cleaning this house...the old one, then I can spend more time at home....

Tree roots in the sewer pipe on New Years Day = Plumbers bonus day and monkey family surrounded in shite...

Not too much of earth shaking material happening, just the usual and missing you all...

Still off the grog, who would have thought?

Went to museum but the queue was huge so we changed plans. Off there now in a few minutes.

Now, as I sat up till 1 am photobucketing this, yer gonna hafta look at it...

Raggsy’s Sydney sojourn continues, with a visit to The Museum of Contemporary art to take part in a brilliant, fun interactive exhibition....... And they let you photograph as much as you want .
First display is like an airport xray machine where you put down items and they become part of an art work.... here’s my mobile phone and specs.



Then into a room with tape measures that are activated when you walk past them.... they unroll till they can’t support their weight, then fall to the floor.



Next was the fingerprint/pulse which is displayed for 10 seconds as a huge pic, then joins all the other fingerprints as a small pic... this was about aver a metre wide and 2-3 metres high.



Here you have a miniature photo taken of yourself which is displayed as an array. This whole screen was divided into about 1,000 . That’s me waving in the top 300 screens! When the next person gets their photo taken, you get bumped down to about 100 photos, then 50, then one.

This was way cool.... a huge room where you are in silhouette, and if in the right spot in front of a camera your image is projected on the wall...



Moving along we cam to where you stand in front of a mirror and strange things start happening to your eys.....






Last display was your pulse displayed via a lightglobe.... the room has about 150 lightglobes in it. You hold a pair of handles which records your pulse and it sets off the light immediately in front of you. When the person after you has their pulse recorded, my pulse jumps to the next light in the row, and so on and so on, till your pulse goes through all 150 lights..

Next we nipped over to Watsons Bay to see if Reggie was in residence...



O ther than Canada where else are there flying boats?
You can see Reggies place near the lighthouse. .... That was a generous gift Tawn



Feeling a bit peckish we ferried back under the bridge



and walked up to the Kirribilli RSL... which is actually in Milsons Point. And this is the view...

And a Coopers Sparkling Ale. And several glasses of water.

Next stop the naval heritage centre.. Reggie I’ve never seen this sort of lay before. Thought you may be interested. It’s a WW11 boom tender that did duty on the Sydney Harbour anti submarine boom .
