Well, it’s been a hectic couple of gastronomic days here...
We went to Bistro Ortolan for dinner. It is in Kings X, but they call it Potts Point . Absobloody lutely fantastic. I have added their number in my phone. We had Spanish caviar with pikelets (oops sorry, blini), and accompaniments all nicely arranged.





And dessert was absolutely brilliant. A creme broulee with fennel ice cream. With a fire on top.






After, we went for a stroll up to the El Alemein fountain.





As we strolled down Victoria St, a scantily clad girl walked right in front of Mr Rags and sort of tripped and stopped, causing him to quickly sidestep lest he bump into her. Then, as we strolled back to the bus stop, the same thing happened again. I said that it was probably their high heels getting caught in cracks in the pavement and people should wear sensible shoes...













and sensible clothes....

Friday morning we went to Wildlife photographer of the year... I snuck a couple of pics. Tawn, you and I produce better than some of the stuff on display. It is becoming more and more how much technical equipment a person has. But still some great pics there. I won’t keep these up here for too long though. And they are a lot more speccy in real life. ( Also most were taken with Canon cameras). Enjoy....

Any idea what the orchid is? My plant books are at home. Is Chorizima yellow too? I was racking my brains trying to think what it was. I came up with"peaflower".
