Morning Undies! Spent the last hour with the girls, feeding and introducing them to the dog, who they jumped on....scared the crap outta him....they really are very bold cept for two and have their own personalities but I'm probably not saying anything thats not already been said. Glad I have them.

Well, about to hit the first morning of Saturday sport, most is cancelled but I am on duty - not managing Bridge - cooking brekky....looks like we wont get the big storms they forecast earlier so all is well on the rising water front property value...

Tawny, if you want to keep cool, have a trip to Wellington. We specialise in it :HI've had a couple of sweat shirts out over the last couple of days. The highest it has been here over the last week has been 21 degrees, and yesterday I think it was max 15 :upset:

BTW - I loved the knitting guerilla's clip!! The One Yarn bandits here posted on FB in early January that they had great plans for 2012, but I haven't yet seen any evidence ........

I must put Breaking Bad onto my list of series to watch out for. After umpteen viewings of Downton Abbey, I am finally starting to get bored with it ....!

Techie - does this mean that you sell these images to all those companies?? Do they pay an up-front fee or is it on a "number downloaded" basis?? I have never been able to work out how those internet based sales systems work!

G - I have a Simpson washing machine that was in the house when I bought it 12 years ago. It is a top-loader too, but I have no idea of the model as all the details have long since disappeared through cleaning! It keeps on keeping on. The only time I have ever had it looked at was when it wouldn't drain the water out ......... and the repair guy found six single socks lodged in the drain pipe (Apparently, the "single sock" phenomenon is largely a problem with top-loaders as they have to leave a space at the top of the barrel to allow a centrafugal motion. While heavier items gravitate to the bottom, lighter ones like socks are thrown up the top and can disappear over the side of the barrel like lemmings ...... :H:H)

Good day being had here - Mr B and I trying to let go of the distress of the last couple of weeks and move forward. We got up early and went to the gym, had a really nice breakfast at a great cafe, and did some domestic stuff. Out to dinner tonight at the house of some very old friends who have recently moved to Wellington from Auckland and really looking forward to it! Boy starts at his new school tomorrow and we have organised a little care package for him with Russian Fudge, afghans (both in ya classic 2-litre ice-cream container :H), an album of photos of him from the last couple of years, and Risk.

Hiya

it is hot here but doesn't feel too bad, it is supposed to hit 41 today. I thought maybe the weather forecast got it wrong but it is already over 37 and not even lunchtime. I don't mind heat, I just can't cope with humidity.

I promised the kids a drive-in movie tonight. Have regretted it completely since I opened by big mouth.
