Yep, I'm hoping to be a new friend here.... I have nice manners and never fart in public unless there is a crowd and I can stare at someone as if they have done the deed.

LOL - so right about the quantity of 'goodness' in a rice cakes. You need 26 to feel like you've actually eaten something... I kinda like 'em loaded with real butter and tonnes of jam! Problem? Maybe, could be - most probably! They aren't that good dunked in soup......

Just trying hard to get things done so I can get out the door on this loooooooongggggg work day called MONDAY!!!!

Thinking of Mr Sunny and hope Sunny and Happy are enjoying their coffee. With names like that I'm sure whatever cafe they are in will be full of good karma for the afternoon.

Yet another episode in the saga of the ex ...... Mr B put (quite a lot of) money into his boy's current account to pay for new uniform, stationery etc etc, and boy got his uniform on Saturday, with the explicit understanding that it would be paid for using his EFTPOS card. Boy mentioned that it was a bit more expensive than had been allowed for because he needed to get some extra sports gear. No prob says Mr B. Today he receives an account from the Uniform place with a "To pay" indication on it. Goes into boys account on the internet to find that the account has been virtually emptied on purchases that have nothing to do with school uniform or stationery - including alcohol, food (quite a lot of food from cafes, takeaways, and supermarket), linen, wool and books (not school stationery). Ex- obviously has persuaded boy that she should "look after" his cash point card some transactions were this morning when boy will have been at school. Can she go any lower??????????

I wish!!! But she and Mr B have been separated for 9 years already and not the slightest sign of another person on the scene.

Yes, Happy, referred to the lawyer today. But given that boy has obviously handed over his card and PIN number to her, and that she is his mother after all, I doubt whether there is much come-back in financial terms. (We will see him in a couple of weeks time. and a serious discussion will be had about the terms and conditions that banks impose on people in relation to cash point cards, and who has liability if unauthorised transactions happen.) And she has recently made some pretty awful allegations (not outright lies, just complete distortions of the truth). We were advised to "rise above them", which we have been doing. Making a big deal out of this may be interpreted as being an attack from another front. Also, we are not wanting to do anything/say anything at the moment that will disrupt boy setting into school - as her modus operandi when anything doesn't go her way is to tell her distortions to the boy.

Anyway - I had my first Introductory Pilates class today, and after an hour lying on the floor breathing deeply and moving tiny little muscles very gently I am feeling almost relaxed again. Going to have a long bath to complete the process.
