Watched The Help tonight with my daughter - I rarely watch movies - i am too much of a fidget but I managed to watch the whole thing and it was very good. Now I am off to bed. Well, my 'I' is acting up, not able to access yest. But I did managed to start of several pots of herbs and lettuces I LOVE purple Basil so lots of that. Big day, later!

Bird--I have not been working out as I should-- I do walk-- but I had to get used to cutting my portions. I got used to eating so much when I was pregnant and never stopped. I am doing weight watchers myself. what is team lean? Aren't we about the same age Bird? I am 44-- I figure I have a small windown before I go into menopause and can't lose an ounce.

Anyhoo-- saw Red Tails last night. I enjoyed it though I think I am going to get a book about the real thing-- anything George Lucas does is sort of special effects with fluff (though fun). Hubs is still in bed-- I take away what I said abotu him helping on weekends (hee)! When he gets up I am totally planning to go back to bed!

Good Morning everyone - Bird - I was ironing for most of the movie! I don't do well just sitting !! Hope your asthma isn't too bad for you - what a pain that must be! We had the rain but didn't get the sleet or snow thank goodness - bright and sunny this morning - Yeah!! (but cold)
Hi Rubes - hard to believe you are starting plants already - we are still waiting for winter!!
ATL - the other night I did dinner for me, and looked at it and thought "I am never going to be able to eat all that" and got another plate and literally cut everything in half! Had two really good meals out of it! Try using a smaller plate - it is a trick that fools the eye!

Hi to everyone else that comes along - sort of quiet this morning - I work the closing shift tonight so don't go in until 2.00 this afternoon. Back later....

I need to stay away more. Y'all r so much fun to read! ATL, G, Bird, IMHO u are too obsessed with your weight. I've met Bird, but all of you are totally beautiful. Through this site we don't do the usual judging on first appearance. Sure, we might notice if your short, tall, thick or thin, but once I was young and beautiful and now I'm, different, older. ATL, what ur son said tells a lot. Children see our souls. Then they become teens and make themselves so obnoxious we have to push them outta the nest.

Fen, love, if you'll PM me your address I'll send u some pioneer porridge. Pioneers could only HOPE for food that good! I cook eat it 10 times a day. And it IS good with ice cream, or fruit. It's a mix (and Sun saw them grinding it) of cracked wheat, white and yellow corn, and whole rice. Cook it up right, and add your fav sweetener (ice cream!) juice instead of water and it's heavenly. Will carry you to the evening. And grits, especially baked, are the big deal now in ritzy restaurants everywhere. Want some of then? I'll send 'em, same package! I'm having better luck with my mail lately, but don't tell anyone!:H
