Jan, that's the first avatar I used on MWO, and had people tell me they had night terrors after seeing it! I thought it looked a LOT like me, especially then! Can't you see the resemblance in my current avatar and yours? Especially given my dental problems and what I'm facing!
Aww, teeth! And a teething baby just does NOT want to be comforted, do they? My grandson has a very loose tooth (he's 6, and it's his first). Will NOT let us touch it.
Sun, I'm in the countdown to Hubs going back to work (THANK YOU LORD!!) We went out to breakfast, his favorite meal, Wally World (I go about every 3 months!), Tractor Supply, Verizon, the drug store, and the feed store. Wow, I live an exciting life.
Mish, Bird, children bring us the greatest joy, but sometimes the greatest pain. They always feel they are the first to go through their troubles in history, and know FAR more than we do, since we're so old. Love the saying 'The older I get, the smarter my parents get.' Hugs to you both. :hug:
VERY cold here this morning, with a wicked wind. Even in my new boots and my old leather jacket, I almost died everytime we left a building. OH, forgot we stopped at one of Hub's favorite haunts, a pawn shop owned by the son of an old family friend, and he bought a HUGE gun safe. Meantime, an old man was in there drinking coffee and talking (I got the feeling this was one of his daily rituals) and after I heard a few things he said, I asked him since he lived in our area what his name was. I knew the name, and when I told him who my parents were, he began to tell me all his stories about my Daddy, how much he respected him, and that Daddy had moved the house he lives in now on a horse farm. Very sweet old guy, and he seemed genuinely happy I'd spoken to him. Made me feel good when he said 'Now that I see you, I should have recognized you, you look like your Daddy. A great compliment to me, I feel.

Hi!

Back from the doctors. Won't know anything about echo for about a week. Did get blood results back though. Everything looked good except my cholesterol a lil high @ 236 and my vitamin D a lil low still, my thyroid med is too high though and she said that it could be the reason for my HBP. We will see once I am on the lower dose a bit. If it is still high I may have to go on meds and lose weight to lower. It was 130 /78 today though so not as bad as it has been Thank God! Glad to see you changed your avatar MB. Poor baby really does look constipated though for sure, lol. Oh, my niece ( bitch of a sisters oldest daughter- she was born on my birthday and we were close before her mamas drama) came by today with Christmas gifts from my mom and Dad today. Needless to say I was shocked and I will count that as a cardiac stress test. Anyway I will send or have my girls send their grandparents a nice thank you note. A phone call would be bad at this point in time, perhaps in the future but I doubt it. T/l :hG

Ya'll chat like magpies when I'm not around, starting to feel unloved! :anyone: MB, the stopped-up baby IS cuter!
I've been on the phone since about noon trying to resolve two issues: the wrong shipment of contact lens, and I'm out (7 calls!) and finding out why Hub's Lipitor was filled in San Bruno, California. No, I CANNOT swing by and pick it up!! When they asked me if he was on dialysis, I just about lost it! They were charging our RX insurance for some guy who's also picked up meds in Las Vegas. Wrong middle name, wrong group number, and DIALYSIS? Hubs hadn't been to a doctor in 35 years till recently! So dinner's done, Hubs is tucked in front of the TV, and I'm about to go use my new foot spa. I may never leave it! :H
