Signing in for the New Year role call even if it is a few days late!!
Hope you are all well....blowing a hoolie out here tonight...my feathers are all ruffled...battening down the hatches for the night,i think we are in for a rough one...not sleeping to well recently,im on steriods and they are playing havoc with my snoozing..hey ho i guess i could always do sunni,s ironing or rubys cleaning,look after MB,cook for Fen,chat with kell...any number of things
to get me through the night..

Don't worry about Hubs and the animals, all. Satan is a dog only HE can love. He buys fresh veggie treats for Ninny, is very upset she won't let him pet her. (She won't let anyone!) He does a check every night to be sure our menagerie is all fed and tucked in. We war about TMB because she's so big, sheds a lot, and obviously adores me, but he always makes sure she's with me on solo trips. She's my security blanket. When I found Tink on-line, he took a day off to take me there, and after she put her little paw on his shoe, he peeled out the money to the crazy lady that had her. I also liked a tiny Chi pup she had, all alone in a cage though it was only weeks old, and called her later to tell her I'd take it too, only to find it had died that night. We've always laughed he's too smart to make me choose between him and my pets. Even the cats have been accepted by him, and they are a raucous pair.
Had the girls here tonight while waiting on their dad. We've decided to pre-plan a meal to cook together so when he gets here from work to pick them up, we can all eat a meal they cooked. Tay has had her normal mood swings, but she's finishing our meal right now. Hubs took Mad out on a drive (her driving!) up and down our drive, down our deadend road a bit, coaching her all the way. She get's her learner's this year. So, it's been a good day, and I won't think of all the things yet to do right now!sigpic

G-you are a very talented writer! Thank you for sharing. And Rubes...you definitely need to post some of your poems here too!! I know your hubby wouldn't dare hurt MY Tink....I'd be on the next "midnight train to Georgia" if I thought he was....everyone who looks at the picture of me with Tink comments on what a beautiful dog she is. (Vicki gave me a photo album filled with pictures of our trips!). I just knew I had to post when I saw your post about him trying to feed her....so now you know what it takes to get me here!!!
Swannie, our beautiful, quiet Swan. I always think of you and wish that we could talk more often. Just know that you are always in my heart and in my prayers.
Well, I guess I've gone over my limit of posting for another month. I think I'll go shower and call it an early night-it's just been so draining at work that I am feeling myself going back into that "hole".....I just wish I could sleep for a few days....and maybe not shower like our friend Mish...and not have to worry about anything!!
