OK, I'll try to find mine. Don't expect much, haven't written in years except when someone asks me to write something for a special occasion.
I found these on the 'Laughing' thread, and I've never laughed so hard. You all know that a really good belly laugh is one of THE best things for your body, right? I've laughed my ASS off at these things, and haven't read them all yet. Thank GAWD I don't have autocorrect here or on my I-phone. Trust me, read a page of 2 of these and you're HOOKED!

Here goes, guys, and thank you G for your beautiful writings and courage to let me post mine.

I wrote this to give my daughter on the morning of her wedding. It was framed and we put it on the table by the wedding cake. Won't post the title as it is her name.

In every heart there is the need
to find one perfect memory.
Of that which measures all our life
and offers purpose for the while
we've spent upon this plane of earth.
That purpose started with your birth.
No greater pain, no greater joy,
than granted me when we were joined.
Together, first, and then apart.
My life to give and yours to start.
Your single path, as time dictates,
for wings I give, to take my place,
of guardian, guide, to change, until

Just got back from the dentist...I broke a crown on the lower back tooth on my right side on New Year's. When I got home, I noticed a rough edge on the temporary...used some wet/dry sandpaper to smooth it down! It worked just fine! :H If any of you need medical treatment, just let me know. I can file down teef, remove cysts and cholesterol deposits on eye lids, lance boils, removed bot fly larvae, etc.

A woman of great talents, Fen. Roger used my little tiny power sander hickey when he visited once and broke a tooth to smooth the sharp edges. When people look at my paintings they say 'I could never do that, can't even draw a straight line'. That's NOT the criteria for art, we can all paint, draw, create, and write. Just in our own different ways. It makes me appreciate all the work everyone does that's different from mine, because each of us is different, coming from wildly different places and experiences. No one should be reluctant to share their work (listen to me, someone who's embarrassed to charge for her paintings when people commission them!! :H).
Oh, I have one I did when I was about 16 that I know by heart, one of my first for a literary club meeting.

DUST

Once I saw a piece of dust.
I picked it up, I knew I must.
I dropped it.
