aaawwww Jan - thanks - yes, I do still think of Maggie a lot. Little things mainly - like the ice cubes! I so miss her. Thanks for the thought :l:l You sound quite low actually - are you alright? Did you see I am going to Ruby's next weekend? Driving on the saturday (all day!!) and staying Sun and Mon and driving back Tuesday. I am not used to driving such great distances but am going to make it part of my adventure!! I will finally get to meet The Old Lady herself !!! LOL

Yes, children cost a fortune - and it doesn't end when they leave home either - trust me !! Hang in there dear friend..... things will turn out. they usually do don't they?

Hi all
Well it is nice and cold and enjoying watching the birds out at the feeder. Kid has a football game today, some all star thing show or something so I miss band practice this a.m. oh well....lost 5 pounds at weigh in at the Y, I was so happy. Had my Thursday drum group,all female and 1 little boy, they were pretty well behaved (well sort of). I am learning as I go along...gosh Georgie that doesnt sound good...oh I wish we could come to rubes too Sun. And MB too. I know you miss Mags. I was thinking of some of our pet chickens this a.m. that have gone and was missing them, and some people too.....finally have the timpani out....one of my kids turns 15 tomorrow. Guess I will start teaching her to drive (really scary).....later

Morning Rog and Bird.... yes Bird - 'tis scary when we start teaching the 'babies' to drive! Once again, SO pleased all that is behind me! Glad the timp has gone at last too - yeah - now you have room again!! LOL and go you for losing 5 lbs!

Have a good day at work Rog.... I am the yucky mid shift today..... 11-7.30 and on a saturday so ALL customer stuff - no projects! Chin up, smile on my face - right??

It is still really cold here and the snow that we had is still on the ground - Ben loves making anow angels (snow dogs?) - he just loves the snow! Temps are supposed to be going up to 31 though - much warmer than yesterday!

Hey, all. I was up a little before 4 AM, still on the 'puter trying to resolve why we had paid to renew our virus protection but was getting flashing warnings we were't protected. chatting with a completely unpronouncable name. Hubs got home, went to bed, and i decided to lie down a minute, so look what time it is!! A tenant called and woke me. Have to rush and dress, go pick up rent, go to grocery, and make dinner before Hubs has to get back up and start over.
It was really cold and windy (I hate wind) on Thursday, but Sun, temps should be near 70 next weekend. That usually means rain, though. Oh, well, I'll fill up the porch with firewood!
For the second time in a year, Hubs called a co-worker not on the job only to find out he'd just walked in and found a family member dead. Both 50 and under. Makes him really paranoid about me spending time alone so much.
We had a strsnge thing happen the other day in our quiet little corner of the world. Went to the store for bread and there were police cars all up and down the road, people pulled over, and another customer said he'd seen INS vans up and down the highway. One guy said they pulled him over, ran his license, tag, insurance, kept him waiting till he checked out, and went after the next car. Obviously they were looking for certain people, but out here with all the little roads people can get lost forever.
Time to fly now. Sun, got a funny mental picture of the 'dog angels!' And Bird, I'm helping teach Mad how to drive now. She's VERY cautious. Daddy had my son driving trucks (on the farm) before he was 10!
AND, Jack has lost his first tooth. When he looked in the mirror, he freaked!! Tip said he wailed 'Now the girls won't like me!!!'

Those pics are adorable and.... Classic. I used to smoke 30 years ago, gave it up for expensive perfume. I have smoked since then, a FAG or two now and then, when drinking, but hated the way my lungs felt the day after.... Have not done this since...... 2009. I am not judging but I have a sister who smokes less than a pack a day but looks like a 50 year old crocodile.......lol,, I will check back later my friends XO g

oh maybe i should be more clear .. 2 foot x 2 1/2 foot by 2 inches thick... and i was just thinking last night about maybe making it out of plastic that lenth and thickess... but i dont really have to get it done by the 28th ... i got to do some planing on that ... both ways sound like a great idea and its never been done that i have seen ... well have a great night one and all .. think ill play some golf on the wil..
