Well, Hubs discovered someone flew on our credit card to the tune of $614 on Dec 30 in Salt Lake City Utah. THAT shouldn't be hard to dispute, since I can get 100 witnesses saying we were here!! It's HIS regular card, not mine, and they are CLOSED till Monday. Guess who's NOT paying for that flight? Haven't flown in several years.
Rog, I'm going scouting for beautiful wood for you tomorrow and when I get to cabin. Now make up your mind, WOMAN! :H
Hubs sprung on me we were going to his parents (at the last minute) for a fish fry (I hate them) for his half-brothers birthday. I couldn't convince him to tell them I'd died. That's one favor I'll be sure to call in. Escaped as soon as (questionably) polite. EVERYTHING was fried and reeking of fishy oil. I'm mean, I know. Came home, brushed my teeth, and gargled with Clorox!

Good Morning Bird! love the pic - you have lots of squirrels too! There must have been a hawk around somewhere this morning as there wasn't one bird or squirrel on my feeder when I looked out this morning - really eery! Couldn't see it, but I know he is around somewhere! Really cold here too today. Day off and I have the veritable long list of things to do though, starting off with calling my mum in Uk.

This thread is the quietest it's EVER been lately. I know T is working long hours, come on ya'll, take up the slack! Where ARE you all?? Tony, Swan, Mish, Biz, Vicki, ATL, Grateful, Nora, and all our beloveds, where are you??? Guy, we're all thinking of you. All you new folks who joined at the first of the year, let us know how you're doing.
Loved the pics, Bird. My cats have cut back on the marauding squirrels. Speaking of which, where is our lovely, hardworking Fen? I've now been invaded by cocky blackbirds. They mock us, talk to each other from the high branches.
Hubs doesn't know whether he works tonight or not. I'm going and sign up a new tenant today; her sister and family live next door and is one of our best ever tenants, plus her parents live a mile away. They are all thrilled to be in the same area, have their children in the school next door to parents.
Did I tell you the Husky tormenting Ninny has been identified? At least he belongs to some good friends across the road. They have a pair, and they're beautiful, plus 5 puppies for sale. Anyone interested? I going to stay on the Rottie trail. I'd take them all if I was 20 years younger or rich.
Getting myself and loose ends cleaned up so I can leave in peace next week. Sun, would you like some wild daffodil bulbs? I have a bucket full. If anyone else wants some I can send you some. My planted ones are already 6 inches tall in the yard.

I would love some daffodil bulbs, but they don't grow here........ My granny has 100's in her yard and they were so lovely......

OOOOooo, he TOLD you you could go? Was that a faux pas, crazy girl?? As soon as Hubs tells me I can't, I do. It's a game we play, till he says 'don't', then it's on!
Beautiful here today, chilly, but brilliant blue skies, no wind (TG). I've quit wishing and rushing toward a season, because that ultimately leads to the end of our season. Been working out, pushing up my 'no smoke' day, and enjoying it. It's crazy here, non-stop, but I get nervous when it's not.
I survived last night's 'family' gathering. Hub's s'bro had his spit cup by his chair, FIL never spoke to me, and I reciprocated. Have a dozen big projects in the air, renters to see, things to do today, and maybe tomorrow we'll be back to normal. Need a break, so really looking forward to my Soul place next weekend. You cannot be unhappy when you're climbing, discovering, in the National Forest, which is my backyard. Just watching the stream is calming. And sitting out on the deck, in the early morning, maybe with a fire in the firepit, gets you back in touch.
Hope to see a Giant Redpecker soon. That one freaked me out! At least this time of year I'm not fighting wasps and hornets. We have an ongoing battle during the warm months.
Saw that despite his confession, Natalie Holloway's killer can be out in 13 years. And he's buying favors in prison. Can't type what I'd do.
Gotta move now. They're all waiting on me somewhere. Check in later, guys!

Just found out that one of our friends from HS was diagnosed 10 days ago with brain and eye tumors Died last night. Wow that was fast. I guess if there is no cure that is the way to go. Going to clean today. Will. TTL. So happy for you Sun , MB and Ruby.nice you can all get together.:hG

Hey, family! Bird, I loved your pic, I love nature! Ruby, MB and Sun, when are ya'll getting together? I'm jealous, but I know ya'll will have a wonderful time! Georgie, so sorry about your friend. There are so many special people in my life going through rough times. It is so hard to tell people to focus on Jesus and not their circumstances, because He promises to do everything for the good of those of us who love Him, but their circumstances are wearing them down. All I can do is pray, God is the one who has to help them. I still can't walk without pain ever since my fall 2 weeks ago. We are driving to Jxn tomorrow, so I can see my doctor and get exrays. Both my feet are purple and swelled and my knee is huge, too. I'm so tired, I haven't been sleeping much. Sorry to be so gloomy today. I just wanted to let you all know how much I love each of you and I will be missing a couple of days. Love, Vicki
