Hubs is having fried cabbage, kielbasa,and cornbread for supper. So far I've managed to sweep, dust, and mop only 3 rooms and the laundry room and bath. ((sigh)) Really need to have place cleaned before I leave. Also bathe the dogs and besure Ninny, cats, and Satan have enough food, load all the cabin stuff, pack, get meds refilled, you know the drill.
Read about a guy in handcuffs in back of the squad car who managed to get in front and drive away. Before he ditched the car, he radioed in to has where the key was to the cuffs. Also a couple nabbed on minor shoplifting when finally getting their ticket found their car had been broken into and more $'s in valuables stolen than they tried to lift. Reckon how hard the cops will look for THAT thief?sigpic

Hi everyone - I am home and half way through making dinner but thought I should post! Well, we still don't know if Jan is coming or not do we? It is nice to see you here with us though - as Rubes said, we are a tad crazy but in a nice way :H Oh - and Ruby is OLD. just to let you know. She is older than me !
The temp here in the mid west is supposed to be 65 this weekend!! This is an odd winter. I hope it is nice in GA! Do you think the bears will wake up from their hibernation ruby? LOL
Fen - hope you had a good day - freezing rain doesn't sound like much fun though...shame if it takes your snow away - no skiing then....

Britt, I AM old, but since SunButt was the gardener for Adam and Eve, and the model for Maxine, I'm in good company.
On a serious note, and 18 year old kid SIL has known for years, one of his flying partners, had a hobby off buying disabled hand grenades and re-arming them. SIL didn't know about it since he's a straight arrow. His 16 year old buddy had his hand blown off with one, so now SIL's friend is in SUCH hot water with so many people. Will probably go to Federal Prison. So sad and stupid.sigpic

Well - it is tomorrow morning now - and what a hairy night !! Storms, tornado sirens - dogs, the thunder and lightning - wow - but most of all - strange to hear the tornado sirens already! Did I go to the basement? No - snuggled further down under my duvet! It is still storming this morning too. Anyway, I am feeling good again this morning - raring to go! How about you lot?

Sounds like some night Sun. Glad you are feeling better this a.m....gosh Rubes, that is something the things kids think up to do......kid bought herself a little lunchbox with bday money and spent half the evening packing it up so then off on the bus this a.m and forgot it so calls me and wants me to bring it up to the elementary school where the bus makes a pit stop so I did since she was in tears over it so now I have to go to work and no time to sit and watch the birdies....bComment

How tragic and sad Rubes. I think it stormed here last night too but I slept like a baby through it all. I didnt want to get up this morning. Bed was to coozy. But, I drug my butt up and cut the heat on so the kids could shower. We all like to sleep with the house cold and lots of blankets, so I wake-up and cut the heat up so they don't freeze body parts off..LOL Feeling strong today.Forever loved, forever missed Papa BearComment
