      Sure he can, MB. I have a queensize inflatable bed, or the couch is very comfortable. And since he'll probably rather get out and see some attractions, Sun and I can just veg on the deck and I'll give you all the details, maps, of places nearby. It's only about a 20 minute drive to be in the higher elevations, beautiful views, and Unicoi State Park is only a few minutes away from us, with trails, paddle boats, and canoes. That's where Anna Ruby falls is, a nice 1/4 mile walk up to the double falls. Does he fish? I think we have all the gear needed.
      This isn't tourist season up there, and the snowbirds/frogheads are down in Florida, so really nice and quiet. So revved about this!

            Hi there - me here. Jan - sounds like a plan - Ruby has some good ideas. I think you should bring him. It will also help you with the driving. so we expect you both there tomorrow !!

            It is funny the reaction of the people at work - "You are going alone to a cabin in the woods in the middle of nowhere with people that you met on-line????" They have no idea which website I met you on - and just don't understand and I am not about to explain!! I am so looking forward to this weekend!! starting to get my stuff together, so I can be ready to leave at the crack of sparrowfart tomorrow. we are supposed to be having rain/snow flurries but I will be away from all that pretty quickly.

              Clay has alot of homeowrk to do, so he won;t be in the way, and I think you two will love him. I have a 9:30 doctor appt in the morning and then I will be on the way......

                    Jan - glad that you got Clay and dr appt sorted! I think Rubes will just say bring yourself!! I am bringing food but then I am a pain to feed (I don't think I am but I will just bring my stuff so you can all eat without worrying about being veggie). You could bring the Veggiemite that Mish sent you - I love it!! I will bring some English muffins and we can all have muffins and veggiemite! LOL

                    You will get there before me I think - I don't think I will get there until late afternoon.

                      Not ALL of us, Sun! Vegemite sounds too much like something from an 'I Love Lucy' program.
                      So happy, MB. Teens are a big part of my life, and like I said, there's plenty to go out and see and do if you want, or enough to do outside to keep you entertained. Sleeping is not problem; I can pull a rabbit out of the hat for anyone who's not picky, just as long as they don't start looking covetously at my bedroom! If you want to pick up some of Clay's fav drinks and snacks, that would be good, but we'll work out meals together. No one starves around my house, tho Hubs complains often that he does. I'm not resorting to spoon feeding him. Have a friend who has one 12-yr-old grandson, from very unfortunate parents, who still cuts up his food and waits on him hand and foot. You can imagine what I've told her! We can order out from a great German restauant nearby where they give me a discount, and Sun, they do great meatess salads, or cook. Have quite a few great veggie recipes for winter comfort food.
                      Sooo, I hope to be there around noon tomorrow, and once I'm on the road I rarely stop. You are all excited about a the new adventure, but I'm excited about being in the place I love, and dread the thought of leaving. So, I'll try to chill, and just enjoy the time in a wonderful place with wonderful people.Will PM you the final parts of finding the cabin.
                      Sun, T was my first MWO visitor, with his man-sized teen Tony. I got the same questions. I was going alone, to a cabin on a dead-end road, with 2 males I'd never met? Was I crazy!! :H:H All I told them was this was not a romantic rendezous, and if Hubs could deal with it, why should they worry? I do want one of you to answer my phone sometime when Hubs call and tell him I'm out. When he asks where, say 'Why do you think she calls your neighbor Busy Bob'! He won't panic, but will probably give a smartass reply. We know each other too well, AND the neighbor. Yuck!

                        Rubes, my mom is rather freaked out that I meet folks online in real life...she thinks it's so risky. Maybe if you all were somebody I was picking up on craigslist, LOL!

                        I think the vegemite party is a lovely idea! Sun, you could bring some marmite along for a tasting party. They are both lovely, malty spreads...the vegemite has a more intense, malty flavor, while the marmite has more of a caramel hint to it. Yum!!!!

                              Nawh, MB, I'm sure he'll be a sweet. If not, TMB always loves a new challenge, even in her elderly state. She always loses weight during the summer, and has the eye infection, but she comes back this time of year. She's so big she walks with what looks like a swagger, still always on guard. Ask Roger! With grown up males, she's always on guard. But she's a pussycat with women and children. I'll protect Clay from her. :H:H:H
