          Thanks Tony, Bird, & everyone,

          Yesterday a very old sick man was in the dental office with his wife. He has many things wrong including Diabetes and has lost many of his toes. He uses a cane but really should be using a walker. Anyway.... Yesterday while everyone was at lunch ( I work the desk at this time) HE FELL OUTSIDE! his very frail wife came in and asked for my help. He was much too large for me to get on his feet although I tried very hard for quite a while. He was dead weight with little feeling and use of his feet. A passerby came back to help me (another woman) we were still unable to help him. We seated him on his bottom while I ran inside and called the dental office neighbor Richie to help. We were able to get him on his feet just as the police came. ( the other neighbor called them, I did not know this). He said he was unhurt. When the doctors came back I began to tell one of them what happened. As I started with telling him who the patient was and what happened, he rudely interrupted me and began to argue that this woman and her husband had left before everyone went to lunch, WHAT??? No I said, they were still here paying their bill and scheduling her next appt. I began again with what happened when he rudely interrupted me again! Mocking what I was saying to him and acting as if I was full of shit or overreacting or both! Annoyed I changed the subject to the next topic at hand, a prescription that a patient needed to have called in , an antibiotic. I told him that I left the folder and number to her pharmacy on his desk in the back. To which he responded " Well at least that had a happy ending". WHAT! I felt as though I was in the Twilight Zone or that I was speaking some kind of foreign language. I would have thought that an elderly patient who fell and the police coming is something he would have wanted to know about. I was discreet about the conversation so it wasn't like he was changing the subject, so that other patients would not hear. I felt like he was trying to undermine my sense of reality when he stood there arguing about an event that he wasn't even there for! At one point he said that he was there! WHAT?! Clearly no one was but me with no way to help this man.... The he said after saying that the patients WERE NOT there and that he WAS there, why didn't I just call him at the deli since he ALWAYS eats there. ???? Huh? How am I supposed to know that, I tried the cell phone but they never answer it. This doctor behaved irrationally and passive about this and left me feeling like there is something wrong with MY perception... I am confused.... Should mention that this doctor gets in moods, but never usually directed at me the it was yesterday. Earlier in the day he brought out these things that looked like wooden bricks ( we have a fireplace in the office) I asked if they were fire starters, he said NOPE, I asked what they were made of , He said one word again, WOOD, I said oh so they are kinda like fire starters, HE said more Firmly, FIRE STARTERS HAVE CHEMICALS, THESE DON'T, but they are for the fireplace right? WRONG AGAIN, he says, YOU USE THEM JUST LIKE LOGS. HUH? I wanted to scream, YEAH! IN THE FIREPLACE LIKE I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO SAY ALL ALONG!!!!!!! What the Hell? Am I speaking another language? Sorry had to vent GINA

            hey there georgiehang in there girl ...and yes this is the place to vent so keep going and let it all out ... well long day here and im tired .. have a great night and sunday .. hope to see more post .. but i understand how things can get too busy .. so just stay strong andthinking positive love and big hugs sweet things

              G u handled yourself much the way I would but would have lost my temper and maybe my job. There is NO excuse for being deliberately obtuse and arrogant. Good for you. YOU are not the crazy one!

                GA, all that fool doctor was concerned with was a law suit. This is what is wrong today....good people are few and far between. Screw him, he is an idiot.

                  I hope it's my puter that I'm seeing only one post besides mine. Are yall on vacation too? Lots of fun w/friends today, I'm loving MB's son, when I'm not swatting him. He's like a St Bernard pup! :H. But the sweetest thing. Sun leaves tomorrow so pray for their safe trips. Later all.

                      good morning folks ... well its monday and start of another work week weeeeeeeeee... but i hve to say it was fun this weekend working with wood and saw dust in the air ... now back to grease monkey ... have an awesome day one and all ...coffeee up and off to work i go hi ho hi ho ...
