    Oh right - like you ate chocolate. Fennel dined exclusively on lettuce leaves, and didn't even finish the miniscule bowl she was issued.

    I, on the other hand, made my way quite handily through every shred of fish and potato on my plate.

    (Be it noted also that Fennel refused to participate in the post-prandial burping contest and I won by default.)

      Coco! "Miniscule" bowl of lettuce leaves? That thing was the size of a large kitchen aid mixing bowl! It could have fed a family of squirrels for a week!

      Thanks to Coco's loud belching, we were both kicked out of the restaurant and banned for life...

            It's like I'm in the twilight zone here when I post, they disappear! Sun, MB, the weather has been fabulous since Sun's taillights disappeared in the rain! Now Clay could SUNBATHE! Doing my best to roust myself and move around As much as I love entertaining, I have truly figured out my limitations and what I need to do so we can all enjoy our time together. Like Clint says,"A (wo)man's got to know their limitations". Expect Hubs to have an APB on me any moment.

                Woke up at 3 am to see a post my neice has posted on facebok, her mother has tragically died...I am like OMG, of course...due to past experience I auto-assume it was a car accident. I mean her Mom is 58...what else happens if you arent sick. Her ex-husband took her in the woods and shot her. He killed her. He is a police officer so they are trying to say suicide, but I am sorry...women dont blow their heads off. Even in severe depression, which she was not, we still think of our children. She has several health issues, she could have easily OD. AND her "suicide note" (yeah right) said "in the woods"...I am sorry the bastard needs to fire. He told her he'd kill her and they'd all believe it was suicide. People are CRAZY...a man she loved, shared her bed and home with for years...blows her head off. How does this happen? I worry about the world. Sorry I am a downer today.

                  Hello, dear family! I loved the pics and enjoyed reading about everyone's trips! Geez, Rubes, I didn't get to see the first waterfall when I was there, but if you had to hike to see them, then I couldn't have made it anyways So sorry ya'll had bad weather. Fen, hope your weather was nice in Florida! We have been experiencing 75 in the day and 50 at night. Guess we won't be having winter, but no complaints here! My life lately has been NO FUN! Last week I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and I fell and I twisted my ankle and sprained my knee. I went to the doctor and got fitted for 2 knee braces and 2 ankle braces and I felt and looked like the michelon man! I was about completely recovered when I fell again! This time doc ordered me a walker! Now I am really feeling old and crippled! Very depressing, but I was able to do alot of reading on my kindle, but I HATED being off my feet for so long! Today, I am up and around, cleaning house for the weekend. Both my kids are coming to see us for Paul's birthday! No, not his big 50, he's only 48, younger than me! He has been great cleanng, cooking and waiting on me hand and foot! Payback for all the times I had to wait on him with gout. He has NOT drank in over a week and I am so happy!!! Biz, I am so sorry for the loss of your Father. Please kow that I am praying for you and your family. I've missed you all, but between all my falls and therapists coming out here 3 days a week, I just haven't had any time to get on my computer. Please know that I love you all and think of you all often. Someday, we will have to all meet up! Love, Vicki

                    Britzz, how awful! How many people heard him say that? This must be investigated further! Thirty percent of all women who are murdered are done in by husbands or bf's. And you're right, that's not the usual way women do themselves in. Please keep us posted...

                      Nice toes you have Fenn....Gosh Luv, that is awful...sorry about your falls Vick....left work and laying around in the hammock. It is about 80 out I bet. Watched a daddy long leg making its way through the leaves and dipping its body in and out of the holes. Guess it was eating. Legs got stuck in leaves a lot. Must be hell to be a daddy long leg.

                            Wow! Life happens to us all, in so many dig ways. Britt, tis not the first not the first time I've heard about someone in law enforcement whose sense of self and omnipotence has themselves and others they are above the laws for the rest of us. I certainly hope an outside agency investigates this. That's just not the way women take themselves out. I pray she has friends and family who will follow this to the end. You've had too much sorrow lately. Coco, whatever you wear, or don't, is lovely. We're just happy you're with us.

                              Sorry, my I took off on it's on. Fen, glad u got a sun tan rather than a snow burn. To u and Suuny, since I managed to wrangle 1 more 'rest' day here, at least, had to journey to town for supplies Saw a friend outside her shop, and a local artist painting her windows, so stopped. She ALWAYS had her dog Megs with her, but this time she had a gorgeous pup. Megs had to be put down w/cancer, and friends kids had bought her the most gorgeous Ausralian Shepard pup. AND, she'd named it Fen!!
                              I MUST drag my carcass home tomorrow only to come back Sat for dulcimer class. We'll see. Another beautiful day here, garden work done.
