      Hi all,

Sun, I am not sure that I said ANYTHING wrong to my daughter I just agreed that it sounded like a good job for her, then she switched things up on me screaming that no one will hire her because she will have to leave in August.??? I need prayers tonight my family, there are many things that are going on that I am not sharing, just please pray that God will hear my prayers. Thank you. BBL :hGina

Aww Georgie you must have a teenage daughter. Aren't they lovely? This will pass. They are like little grenades...quite and calm then a HUGE bang. I will be praying.

Mama I am in management for medical billing, my background is coding. I work from home right now and hate it! I will be back in an office setting with grown people...YAY!

The Journey begins here so get YOUR ASSES IN GEAR!!!! for JANUARY 2012

Ya'll I have lost 8.5 lbs this month since January 9th! I am so psyched. Almost afraid to say anything becuase I think I might jinx it though...but I have counted the weeks until my bday and sort of made a plan-- the old one did not work too well so I changed alot of it which is how I sort of overcame the alcohol stuff (though I am not cocky-- it could kick me in the ass at any minute).

Britt--hub helps at times with our son but during the week he is loathe to. I think his view (and as someone who had an identical career to him- partner in a big law firm-- I sort of get it) is that during the week his job is stressful and that our social conttract is that I take care of son and he earns the money, he needs his downtime during then to be his best. Since I have had chronic health problems I guess it gets wearing to step in for him-- I would do it for him but I bet I would bitch too (behind his back of course-- hee). Of course when we both worked pre-son he admitted he was a total load-- I did all the house stuff and earned more money than him. I have to say that for someone who was pretty disorganized I give him props for taking over the money stuff along with his job. Now of course if he was asked where son is supposed to be on a given day of the week he would have no clue. Last nigth as I was putting Luke to bed he actually said "Mommy, I love dad but he just does not run things as well as you do". I think kids love security and sameness even if they complain about the business like nature of some of the arrangments.

and with that I am going to pick Luke up from his playdate-- we are going to the movie Redtails about the Tuskeegee airmen. I hear it is more blockbuster than historical but hubs wants to see it. we were thinking the Gary Oldham movie but that is heavy (and I read the book). Love to all!

What size are your feet, Bird? I have an extra set, but I'm a women's size eleven and a half.

You know...I've always been curious, but never asked...what IS your avatar? It looks like a legged seal with canines....

9 1/2 Fenn. I dont know what my avatar is. I think it is a schmoo. Remember that comic? There is a picture of me riding it in the gallery I think. I took it as a joke for Morrison a long time ago...the kids are screaming their heads off.

                      Wow Bird,
Sounds like we have a lot in common. Teenage plus children, a will to lose weight. If your name reflects what you love, I too love birds. I believe that they are like angels, I have had four in my lifetime. XO Gina

                          Lol,
Yep I too have had canaries, parakeets, and a parolet, and I have rescued many wild birds in my lifetime. Your kids sound younger than mine though. How is the weight loss going? Mine is not. It is so hard I used to be so thin that people thought that I had an eating disorder. Mmmmm wish I could find a happy medium. Gina

That is funny about the love bird Tony...my kids are 13 and 15 Geo. I have rescued many birds as well. I joined team lean at the Y so I have to lose weight or else pay if I gain, so it is a great motivator. There should be a team sober, pay if you drink..

                                Thanks Tony,

I am okay. I once almost got a Love bird but the sales-clerk talked me into a parolet instead. I know of a few people who have had them and they make wonderful companions. I love all birds even crows, they just fascinate me... G
