hey there ladies and gents ... well so far a great weekend i had a day off and well i got the one job done yesterday and just switch things around ... sorry but i just wanted to get some things done around here like my personal projects and well io just wanted to sit bye a fire and sing comba yaaaa .. with my cats dogs and kids .. which is was or is still my son luke b-day the big 18 ... and no i wont say im feeling old just like where the helltime goes .. and i lost so much time ... but such is life .. but great living for today as it happens ... and well back to work for tomorrow just a quiky and then i can relax the rest of the day .. enjoy stay strong shifting forward and thinking positive

Hey there everyone - I am home from work - it was really busy tonight. One of the other managers is sick with a terrible cold so I am taking her shift tomorrow morning - so I will be doing a clopen - close tonight open tomorrow. I will miss my sunday off. never mind - she also has Monday off so hopefully she will get to feeling better - she seemed really sick and couldn't say two words without having a really bad coughing spasm. I am taking my Oil of Oregano!!!

The pioneer porridge was good but I really didn't think I would have used it - if I had bought it, it would have sat in my cupboard! And the grits - well, the less said about the grits, the better! But the grist mill was neat - seeing the old stone grinding the wheat or whatever. Rubes - have you already made your dulcimer? I thought the class was full and he was going to come to your house? Did he come there today?

I need to get to bed - up very early tomorrow - good job I already did my ironing yesterday and washed my hair today!!

Hi all
Had an awful time with my kid yest, she running very late from academic bowl and nobody answering phone I worried sick and on bike at y calling calling thinking bus wreck etc. Finally got through yay we come home I sit and drink a few beer after many sober days. Bed time she would not get off pc after repeated attempts I unplugged it she very mad said Im nothing but a drunk and I dont do anything and Im a poor parent and everything that is wrong with her is my fault cuz I raised her that way. I say it isnt so and I am doing the best I can and defending myself, well went to bed and she up cry cry cry with her sister they talking. Well, I still feel good about myself regardless of all that hell I think Ive been doing great actually....not sure about my kid. Well it is a nice day out though and will not let it get me down.

Oh Bird, honey, you sound so strong and you are so RIGHT...you are a good mom and doing the best you can. Teenagers know all about drama and know exactly which buttons to push to hurt us. My oldest was telling me yesterday about some drunk things I did in the past and made me feel llike shit.
We are humans and we make mistakes and kids like to throw it in our face when they are mad or not getting their way. I have to say Grant hurt me, but he was right and only added to my resolve to stay sober.
Clay is off in his new car at a best friend's baptism......sweet right?
I am going to do a few chores and head to the office....

Bird, sorry about your daughter. They know what buttons to push to hurt us like Mama said. We feel guilty so they use it to the hilt. I finally told my daughter it wouldnt work anymore. If she was unhappy here, she has a father that lives 20 minutes away. She stopped doing it. Even after a long sober period she'd try to throw it in my face. I got sick of it.

How many years before she's eighteen years old, Bird?

It's your house, and your rules. She's a minor living at home and if it's time to get off the p.c., she needs to listen. Don't even dignify her insults with attempts to defend yourself. Let her know that when she's eighteen, working and living in her own place, she can buy her own p.c. and stay on it all night if she likes. Teenagers can really get you where you live, can't they? Be strong. :h
